Bolivar Flats Beach
Reviews
Have trash cans every. Beach is pretty clean. There's a few spots someone left beer cans from a campfire, but over very clean. Would definitely recommend bringing the family and for camping and swimming. Out house was actually stocked with toilet paper. Waves will put you to sleep if your camping. You can drive down the beach. Park right next to the water. It was pretty awesome. Especially getting to watch the ships go in and out of the channel .

Nice quiet place to camp. There was only 5 other people on the beach. Good hard packed sand to drive on. Porta potties up by the entrance.

nice spot. weather it be just to hang out in nature or to camp on the beach. took a road trip cross country and stopped here for 3 nights with some friends, had a blast. we all took a dip, did yoga, played music, eat and had good nights of sleep. walked around and found some nice shells as a keepsake. would recommend and highly look forward to coming back. take the ferry and hit the town for some music too.

I hear fishing is good but didn’t see anyone fishing. Trash cans are every 100 yards or so which is good. Beach seemed clean except what trash came in with the tide. Sand was very hard so sandcastles require shovels. Walked around a bit and noticed a good amount of clay patches which could easily ruin someone’s day and it looks like in some of the spots people have been stuck before. Digging for the sand castle and walking, some of the clay patches can not be seen but you will know it’s there when you sink in. Be on the lookout when diving and stay up and away from the water and you should be ok.

This was a great beach camp spot! We stayed 2 nights in a 26' TT. The weather was in the upper 60s and a bit windy, which wasn't bad as it turns out because the day we left it was still and there were thousands of mosquitos! Beware though, our things started to rust in the short time we were there. Can ride bikes on the sand and drive. Reason for 4 stars was some hoodlums were racing up and down the beach first night we were there at 11:45pm.
