UT Physicians Neurology

I received excellent care at UTHealth Neurology. I was referred for a procedure but received scheduling for a consultation, unbeknownst to me. I arrived from out of town (500 miles away) and found out as I was being escorted back to an exam room that I was there for a consultation. Dr. Brown, the resident and Dr. Nguyen were very caring. They worked together to make sure the procedure took place quickly. Dr. Nguyen worked me in. Amazing staff!

Excellent Experience with Dr. Gupta and His Team! Dr. Gupta is an outstanding physician. He is very attentive and truly listens to all of my concerns. He takes the time to explain everything clearly and always provides thoughtful, helpful advice. I also appreciate how responsive he is when I send messages through the patient portal. I always feel supported and cared for. The staff at both (Medical Center and Sugar Land) locations are equally amazing. They are always professional, respectful, and make every visit a pleasant experience. I’m grateful to have such a caring and efficient team taking care of my health!

I have seen Dr. Sheikh for over ten years for various complex neurological issues. He originally helped me resolve a rare lung condition and is currently managing my neuropathy during cancer treatment. Dr. Sheikh is a rare find: a dedicated researcher who translates clinical evidence into practical bedside care. He is thorough, great listener and communicator, and deeply invested in his patients' long-term outcomes. I cannot recommend him highly enough for those dealing with difficult or chronic diagnoses.

UT Neurologist Dr Monday is a great caring doctor who knows what is going on with her patients. She makes you feel cared for by allowing you all the time needed to go over your any and all questions/concerns and you may have. She is a very thorough Dr and she does follow up on your test results; reviews your chart to make sure that everything has been done and results are ready to be discussed together. It's nice to know that your Dr actually reviews all the other Dr records that you have seen within the UT Health. Making sure that another Dr isn't prescribing you medication that could cause you side effects or if it will work with what Dr is prescribing. I love that she is thorough.

Been seeing Dr. Thy Nguyen for six years due to a rare autoimmune disorder called Guillain-Barre Syndrome. Dr. Nguyen is an exceptional physician who I could tell had studied my medical records extensively prior to my first visit. I see her once a year and she remembers you and genuinely cares and very knowledgeable on my condition.
