I was terrified when I made my first appointment. He took the time to listen and then educated me about my feet and the healing process. The physical therapy team is extremely supportive and coached me through the movements/exercises so that I could improve through performing them at home between visits. And everyone one of them have experienced the pain and frustration of a foot injury.

I’ve had a fantastic experience with Dr. Hetman and his staff. From consult to surgery and then follow ups and physical therapy, he made me very comfortable and confident about the procedure (and I had consultations with 2 other Podiatrists before finding him). Thank you again!

Dr. Jeff Hetman is the expert at treating Morton neuromas! No other podiatrist I have seen has been able to perform alcohol injections the way he does and it has given me the ability to stand on my feet without pain again! Thanks to his help, I was able to complete nursing school and become a registered nurse! 🙂

Updated review: I finally got in touch w/the billing dept via phone (my own delay) and was promptly refunded the additional $15 overcharged for my copay. The pathology bill is outrageous though. The doctor clipped 2 toenails for testing. I have great insurance yet they still charged well above the negotiated rates for pathology. No way it should cost over $700 to test toenail clippings. For the first time, Im sent a bill bc fees so damn high. So I'll be filing a claim w/my insurance regarding the overcharge. Personal experience + reviews on Next Door app regarding the fraudulent billing practices throughout the Memorial Hospital network...I won't don't want medical care from any doctors associated w/ that hospital on Gessner. The location sucks big time. The parking garage is a huge hassle, it took 15 minutes just to find a parking spot because 1,000 people have appointments in the same bldg. I didn't know if I showed up to a doctor's office or a concert. That touched a nerve. It was my first appointment, 40 mins lapsed between sign in and finally being called. I don't believe in waiting more than 15-20 mins considering that's the most these places wait before canceling your appointment. Also, the cost of healthcare dictates my time is respected. I was charged a $25 copay when my copay is only $10 (I need to call them about that). I was asked to pay before I was even seen...that was a first for me. Signage on the receptionist window basically says "don't bother us" lol. Sign in, sit down, dont ask us how long or any other questions, we'll call u when we call u, lol. The Dr was personable but seemed rushed and was in and out kinda quick considering it was my first visit (compared to other specialists I have). Lacked empathy and very matter-of-fact but did seem knowledgeable. Overall, I didn't feel like I made the best choice...the 4.5 star rating is misleading. I didn't leave feeling like I do after my other appointments. However, willing to wait it out and see if 2nd impression is better than the 1st.
