I underwent my first knee replacement in the fall of 2024 and completed extensive post-surgical physical therapy at the Greenway Plaza location. I chose Memorial Hermann Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation because of the outstanding care I had previously received during rehabilitation for two separate rotator cuff surgeries at other locations. Those experiences left a lasting impression. Seven weeks ago, I had my second knee replacement. Although my surgeon recommended several physical therapy options, I told him without hesitation that I would return to this same facility based on the exceptional service I experienced before. Once again, the team has exceeded my expectations. The therapists are highly skilled, attentive, and genuinely committed to patient progress. The administrative staff has been equally impressive—scheduling is smooth, communication is clear, and billing has been handled efficiently and accurately. My experience at this facility has been consistently excellent, and I recommend it without reservation to anyone seeking first-class rehabilitative care.

My doctor referred me to here to get my physical therapy. The last 10 weeks I have really learned a lot in terms of getting the movements done and weak spots in my body thanks to Brittany for being the amazing Physical Therapist she is. I got better than before and will continue to apply the movements I've been taught by my amazing Physical Therapist Brittany.

This place has some good therapists, but it's a practice to avoid otherwise. They charge thousands of dollars without telling you up front that the session cost will be varied, and then send you a massive bill for basic excercises. They also double up patients with the same therapist at the same time, so the attention is lacking and the service those days should frankly be half price. I'm sure they do this to inflate the insurance bill, but they don't realize or perhaps don't care that the client has to eat the co-pay in many cases, so should be informed before racking up sessions assuming it's business as usual. The sessions were the same each time, so the fact that some were itemized as billed at a few hundred while others were billed many times higher was not right. Hate to have to switch my family's business over, but we will look for more fair and transparent billing practices.

Edited - the manager reviewed the issue and because I was not given any estimated cost of care, they removed the extra charge. I hope their policies improve in the future and make sure to fully inform patients of potential costs before they go to their appointment. Original Post - Unbelievably over priced for the care received. They could not provide any estimate, even when I told them why we were going in, because they said it "varies too much." When we arrived the next day, they still could not tell me how much it would be before or after the appointment. After 30 minutes of my daughter being told to rotate her wrist, we were charged $246 and told we'd get another bill later. They sent a $1089 bill to insurance - again, for a 30-minute session in which she practiced rotating her wrist. And now we also owe an additional $169. Absolutely ridiculous for the treatment received.

They need much better management at this place, the system is pretty inefficient and slacking off. Both times I got calls on the same day of my appointment (that I had to wait for a month) that there’s something they need but they just notice it that day so I won’t be able to come in for my appointment. What kind of healthcare provider is this? Even restaurants know to confirm few days ahead but they can’t seem to do this job? I love my therapist tho she’s great.
