Memorial Hermann Hospital — Greater Heights has helped me get through some tough illnesses recently. Their exceptional healthcare providers, including Registered Nurses (RNs), Certified Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) who support the RNs, and Respiratory Therapists (RTs), play a vital role in helping me breathe. The housekeeping staff who clean and sanitize my ICU room are top-notch. In fact, there are many other outstanding healthcare professionals, all of whom I thank for their courage, dedication, and caregiving. Thank you all.

My mom wasn’t doing well so my sister took her to the ER today. They got her in pretty fast and started running all kinds tests. They said after the last test ordered she was going to ge admitted but we would have to wait for the doctor to tell us why. Then they came and took more blood saying the doctor would tell us why. They came to move us to a room we were told and that the doctor would tell us why. The room turned out to be an observation unit but they didn’t know why they were observing her. Then they said there wouldn’t be a doctor till the morning. They had a supervisor come tell us the doctor would come but by this point it had been 4 hours since we were told she was being admitted without even a basic idea as to why. At this point mom said she was feeling a bit better and wanted to go home. We informed the staff and they took out her IV and let us leave. I had to push her while she sat in her walker. The fact that no one said anything makes me think they were actually just trying to get as much out of her Medicare as possible. At no point did anyone even question why an elderly woman with leads hanging all over her, in a hospital gown was being taken out of the hospital being pushed on a walker. I even had to leave her in plain sight of the front desk and security to go bring my car up to the door. Nothing about this experience made any sense. I like that the hospital is close to home and everyone was very polite but that was the strangest experience I have ever had in a hospital. Be extra careful if you can’t go anywhere else.

My PCP took vacation & I had a serious mishap 🥹 but I received the best care. I went in on 3rd shift and I was blessed to have a doctor by the name of Dr. Varun Iyer & he was great 🙌🏾💪🏾. Most ER's would rush you out the door, but he was certain to offer transparency, made sure I was knowledgeable of everything, he ran test to pin point the possibilities and to x-out concerns. I've never had that kind of experience in an ER before (EVER). You do not find doctors that will take an ER visit that serious & care to the extent that he did. This doctor actually considered my input as well made me feel heard and understood which I deeply appreciated. Great doctor and human being all the way around! 🩷 They were great the entire 3rd shift there...

I was at the ER on June 12, 2026.The lady who registered me was very nice band professional. Also the lady in intake was very nice and professional, after I left her department I was taken to a room. The room I went to had no sheet on the bed.So, I went to the lady at the desk and ask for a sheet. She pulled out a blanket came to the room were I was threw the blanket across the bed and I asked her was it a long wait she didn’t answer. She was not a very pleasant person. So, while I waiting for the doctor I heard them talking bad to a patient. The client said I have been sitting in this room for 4 hours or more. The man decided he would leave and ask could they get him a ride home. The lady at the desk said will have to get back the way you came. After the man left the two guy said he ain't nothing but a crack with no insurance. If fe

I had a scheduled surgery at this hospital. I'm not understanding all of the negative reviews. I felt like the most important person in that OR Prep area (as one should). I wish I could list the names of everyone who took care of me, they were all very kind and saw to me needs. My outpatient procedure took longer than planned, but I actually anticipated it would. Woukd recommend this hospital 10/10.
