I had a wonderful experience today at the Memorial Hermann Memorial City Medical Center – Digestive Health Center. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel completely at ease. Although I didn’t catch the name of the friendly check-in clerk (I wish I had!), she was warm and welcoming. Daja at registration was efficient and kind, helping the process move along smoothly. Candela, my pre-op nurse, was absolutely amazing—she took the time to explain everything thoroughly and made sure I understood the do’s and don’ts for my upcoming procedure. Her calm and professional demeanor really helped me feel more confident and prepared. And Mr. Jeffery, the phlebotomist, had soothing music playing during my blood draw, and EKG testing, creating such a relaxing atmosphere—it was exactly what I needed after a long day at work. I was in and out within an hour, and the entire experience was stress-free. I truly appreciate the kindness, professionalism, and care shown by everyone I encountered today. Thank you all for making a potentially nerve-wracking visit so smooth and comfortable.

6am appointment and met with happy staff members that forwarded me towards the process of my time there. All went extremely well and I would suggest from my personal experience for my very first time with a new doctor of Memorial City Medical Digestive Health that all patients look into this location and find doctors utilizing this location for future needs. I am 100% satisfied that I was walking out at 830am

I had a revision from gastric sleeve to Duodenal Switch with Dr. Ferrari at the facility. Dr. Ferrari and the staff at this facility are top notch. They anticipated any problems or issues which might arise and work hard to prevent. For example, they give anti-nausea medicine before surgery to prevent nausea post-surgery. Also, they use the lasted research to prepare for surgery, during, and post surgery. For instance, hydrating the evening and morning of surgery helps prevents many post-surgery issues like nausea, vomiting, etc. They made sure I was super comfortable not only physically with space-age like blankets, but mentally, constantly reassuring and being gentle in manner. I had no complications post-surgery due to all of their knowledge and prep. This was my 11th surgery in my life and by far the best experience with a surgery center. Highly recommend.

I went in for a routine vasectomy 10 months ago and am still having infections in the area of surgery that the doctors aren't solving. My dad and my friend both said that they had no pain of any kind 1 week after their vas'. They insist that the infection is not related to the vasectomy, but I am the picture of good health...and have never had any issues in the testicle area before the surgery. To compound the matter, the doctor that did the vasectomy is not in the office consistently, so my appointments keep getting switched to other docs. None of the docs seem to have a full picture of what is going on because I don't see them more than once. And as a cherry on top, I have never been seen by a doctor any sooner than 1hour past my appointed time. I am not exaggerating, I even had to wait for an hour when I showed up before they opened...because they had a "scheduling error". My longest wait was 1hour 30 mins in the waiting room and then another 20 minutes in the examination room. To be fair, the doctors seem capable. Mine was a younger (40-ish) male and had good personal skills and seemed proficient at what he was doing. Someone needs to have a serious conversation with the scheduling department.

I have been going to Dr. Krishnan for over 12 years and really liked him. His staff is a different story! Nurses are rude, not helpful with setting up procedures, and good luck getting assistance for medication when there is a prescription issue. I quit going to the Memorial office 2 years ago due to staff and went to Katy office. Decided to give it another shot at Memorial office and still no change just more of the same rude people. Dr. Krishnan is a good doctor but has forgotten several times to note chart for tests. Nurse says I have to make an appointment to come back and ask Dr. Krishnan about the tests.
