My 82 year old mother had an appointment with a Creekside physician. It was for an injection to be administered by a nurse. The appointment was scheduled for 1 pm but we were told to show up at anytime. We arrived at 11:30 and still hadn’t been seen at 12:30. When we checked what the wait was we were told by the receptionist the the nurse was at lunch and just 10-15 more minutes. 30 minutes later no one had come and we asked again what was the issue. Now it was that the physician had not approved the visit!? The visit has to be scheduled via messages as the system will not schedule a nurse visit. You can’t call and speak to anyone re: getting a visit without playing phone tag. We did not insist on this day and if they wanted her to come AT 1 pm they should have communicated that. Instead they made her wait until I had to confront a nurse. The medication had been paid for, the visit paid for. The medication was physically there as we had paid for it and had it sent to the doctor’s office. They could have said something when we arrived that the there was an issue with the visit. Very rude to treat a patient that way.

I've been to this hospital for imaging and a an ER patient and highly recommend this facility. The people here have been kind on each of my visit but this recent visit was my longest stay. I'm so incredibly thankful for the care I received this post week. Noemi in the ER was spectacular! She was calm but moved with purpose and she was super kind. Her calm demeanor and steady voice was reassuring in such a high stress situation, she seemed very experienced! Hedi and Neal in the ICU were a delight! I'm so thankful to have been in their care! They were both personable and great caretakers! They were thoughtful and really made my time there pleasant. Thank you to the rock stars that were there for me, from the check in lady that identified a need for quickness, the people who got my IVs in and everyone else along the way that I didn't get a name for, you really are a great team there!

On January 14, 2026 I had a heart cath at the Cath Lab of Methodist The Woodlands Hospital. From the the time I entered the hospital and checked in, until the time I checked out I was treated with utmost respect. The check in at the Cath Lab with Dee and MO excellent. My RN Nurse Jordan, a complete WINNER! A very caring, compassionate nurse. Absolutely fantastic! To the Cath Lab itself Doug, Jennifer, Sidney, and Chrissy all absolutely, all fantastic, and WINNERS! Dr. Paul Cunningham who administered the test the Greatest, and of course , a WINNER. There are not enough stars that can be registered, wrote on paper, neither in the Heavens above that can be given to these!

Review / Formal Complaint I am writing to share my recent and deeply disappointing experience at Methodist The Woodlands Hospital Emergency Room. What my mother and I encountered during our visit was unacceptable, unprofessional, and far below the standard of care expected from any medical facility—especially one under the Methodist name. Upon arrival, I informed the front desk receptionist that I needed assistance getting my mother out of the car due to her medical condition and limited mobility. Instead of offering help or initiating standard ER support, the receptionist responded with the inappropriate and dismissive question: “How did y’all get her in the car?” Her tone was unprofessional, insensitive, and completely out of line given my mother’s visible distress. After that interaction, I called the ER at approximately 11:20 AM and spoke with Emma, requesting to speak with an ER supervisor. I was placed on hold for about 25 minutes. When the supervisor, Shelly, finally came on the line, her attitude was shockingly rude and dismissive. Her exact response was: “That’s just how we do, and you have the right to file a complaint.” This statement reflected a disturbing lack of compassion, accountability, and regard for patient safety. What makes this experience even more concerning is the inconsistency in care. When my mother was hospitalized at Methodist The Woodlands this past May, the intake nurse immediately came outside to assist us without hesitation. The drastic difference in the level of professionalism and willingness to help is alarming and raises serious concerns about the ER’s current standards and staff training. Because staff refused to assist and treated us with disrespect, my mother was unable to safely enter the facility to receive emergency care. We had no choice but to leave and take her to another hospital for the urgent treatment she needed. This entire experience was distressing, dangerous, and completely unacceptable. No family seeking emergency medical help should be met with indifference or hostility. I hope this matter is addressed promptly and taken seriously, as the safety and dignity of patients should always be the highest priority.
