I saw Dr Lee for a second opinion and he and his team were amazing listeners as I shared my story. Immediately went to work to help me find the right diagnosis. Highly recommend Houston Methodist Eye Associates for top level expertise providing excellent patient care and support.

I was looking forward to my appointment with Dr. Amina Malik, having done thorough research on the blepharoptosis procedure I was interested in. I had even found a few before-and-after images of her work. However, my experience was I was looking forward to my appointment with Dr. Amina Malik, having done thorough research on the blepharoptosis procedure I was interested in. I had even found a few before-and-after images of her work. However, my experience was unsatisfactory. Dr. Malik communicated quickly and seemed rushed, giving me the impression that she was more focused on moving to the next patient than on addressing my concerns. When I asked questions about the procedure, she appeared annoyed rather than engaged. Throughout my years of consulting with various healthcare professionals, I can confidently say that this visit fell well below my expectations. Her attitude was so ARROGANT AND UNPROFESSIONAL. The confrontational demeanor she exhibited contributed to an extremely uncomfortable experience for me. It's frustrating to have to pay for treatment that left me feeling this way. She was arrogant and unprofessional to say the least, and her people never called me back as they promised. Horrible experience. After all, I am glad I did not put my sight and safety in her hands.

I was very upset to find out Dr. Garvin Davis had scheduled to do surgery on the day I was to receive four shots in my eyes. He seemed very rushed and the shots were very painful this time. As he rushed out the door he said if I wanted to wait 45 minutes he would be back and answer any questions I had. He should have rescheduled my appointment instead of trying to do both procedures at the same time. I have had a headache, pain in my left eye, and fuzzy vision off and on since my shots, which has never happened before. I am very upset at how I was treated that day, with the procedure and words that were spoken to me by Dr. Davis. Even Monica, the department manager, heard me crying and came in to see what was going on. She apologized and said surgeries are not generally scheduled on days the doctor sees patients.

My appointment went well. Dr Malik prescribed medication and showed me how administer the nighttime bandage. Will have a follow up visit in two weeks.
