Living in Houston and being in the medical field, I had many options to choose from when it came to choosing a physician to do my own surgery. After speaking with other physicians in the community and using my own intuition, I decided on Dr. Bowman. I had a torn Achilles tendon that required a rather complex surgical operation in order to repair it. Dr. Bowman and his staff were 1st class from day one. I am very thankful that I made the decision to use him. I know the operation was done correctly and he has maintained consistent follow-up post op. In short, he is very skilled and he genuinely cares about his patients. Dr. Bowman is never in a rush and he is happy to sit and answer whatever questions you might have. I know he puts in the time to stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and would absolutely recommended him to my family and friends. Thanks Dr. Bowman....

Looking for the right doctor can sometimes be as painful than the actual pain your having. A friend told me about Dr. Bowman and I decided to set up a visit. Dr. Bowman told me I needed surgery on my Achilles and explained every step of the procedure thoroughly. This was the first time I have had any type of surgery, but the surgery team treated me with care and made me feel very comfortable. The surgery went very well and I had very little pain. While recovery at home, Dr. Bowman called several times to check to see how I was doing. This showed me how Dr. Bowman feels about his patients. I recommend Dr. Bowman and his staff to anyone!!!!!!!!!!

Incredible staff here!!! Very professional, kind, and went out of their way to be helpful. Dr. Allen is amazing! I wish could have her as my PCP!! I went to get my ingrown nail removed and she was able to take care of it that visit (and a couple of follow ups).

I went to HFS after reviewing the information about Dr. Bowman over the internet. I must say that he lived up to these reviews. As a health care professional myself I was impressed by the professional yet compassionate way he handled my questions and concerns. His staff were friendly and professional as well. I also liked that he did his procedures in an outpatient setting that is more cost effective as well as lowers the infection risk. I will have to schedule this surgery a little further along into the future based on Dr. Bowman's recommendations(I am having an another surgery and thought I could do both and he *honestly* said no).This added another notch to the respect quota for me. Anyway, my Mom has a more pressing need now and I have had her set up an appointment with Dr. Bowman because I'm sure he is the person that will be best suited to handle her needs.

Dr. Aleisha Allen is FANTASTIC! She diagnosed and drained a ganglion cyst for me with no discomfort whatsoever, even though the needle was monstrous :) She's extremely informative with a gentle and understanding bedside manner. I will ultimately need to have surgery to have the cyst removed and I wouldn't dream of trusting any other doctor with this task. She has explained to me in great detail how the surgery will go and also provided cost effective options for surgery...love love her!
