Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston provides exceptional care and truly goes above and beyond for their patients. 🏥💙 From the moment I arrived, the staff were kind, attentive, and professional. Every nurse, doctor, and technician I interacted with made me feel comfortable and well cared for. 👏 The facility is clean, well-organized, and equipped with top-notch technology. I really appreciated how clearly everything was explained to me — they take the time to answer questions and make sure you understand your care plan. 🌟 It’s clear that the entire team is dedicated to patient safety, compassion, and excellence. Thank you, Memorial Hermann, for making a difficult time so much easier with your outstanding service and kindness. 🙏💐

My husband was scheduled for surgery in this hospital. We were very concerned because some years back this hospital had gained a reputation for poor service and doctors who held low ratings. This January 2026, the service and staff were amazing 👏 on 6C. And the entire facility was very clean. And of course Dr. Olungana and Dr. Baldwin along with Nurse Johnathan and the rest of the staff on that wing treated us well. Housekeeping is Awesome! #nitygrityismyfavorite

I've been to this hospital for myself and for my mother. During my C-section, I can't say the care was pleasant; the staff was rude. Regarding my mother, in the Intensive Care Unit E, they have been very kind and professional. However, these are delicate situations, and they aren't taking the proper precautions. They eat in the ICU (inside the nurses' station), which contaminates work surfaces and medical equipment and jeopardizes biosafety. If a visitor takes precautions for their loved one, one would expect even greater care from the staff, and this isn't an isolated incident; it's happened several times. It doesn't take much to understand this basic principle.

I was there for 2 MONTHS after my stroke. Most of the staff sucked. I overheard one transfer person say, “I don’t care about she. I care about me”, while transferring me to a new bed. All of the therapists(PT ,ST, and OT) were pleasant except for the respiratory therapist. I can remember a lot of them saying that they’d return and never did. I can count on one hand how many respiratory therapist were likable — same with my nurses. I also had a few doctors that were very nice and extremely skilled. All in all, my experience was meh. I’m happy the hospital sent me off to a rehab to continue care. :) me writing this is all thanks to my the entire care team. Again I can’t thank them enough. They literally started from zero movement. Edited to add: I was given Seroquel as a sleep aid. I was never made aware that that may causes weight gain. I was also given Lexapro as an antidepressant. Same situation. Never was made aware that that may cause insomnia. I was given the Seroquel to ease my Lexapro induced insomnia. My stroke affected my cerebellum not cerebrum, so I was 100% aware of everything. Why I wasn’t given the opportunity to decide if I wanted those medications is a mystery. I was never told about the possible side effects.

This was our first time taking our daughter with special needs (non verbal autism) to a procedure outside of a pediatric setting. We were very nervous about our daughter’s anxiety and all the behaviors that come with it. Everything went fantastic. From our intake appointment, to registration, to pre-op, to recovery, everything went smoothly. At every stage, we were constantly asked what could be done to better accommodate our daughter. If the RN’s were nervous about starting her IV, I couldn’t tell. Everyone was so patient and gave us the time and space our daughter needed. I know OR’s run on a very tight schedule, especially at a big hospital like MH Southwest. We never felt rushed or that we were being an inconvenience. I let people know that even though our daughter is non-verbal, she understands most of what is said to her. I really appreciated that staff talked directly to her as the patient, seeing her as a person first, instead of her autism.
