I was there on 12/27/2025 with a friend who was having post hernia surgery complications . He was there on the previous day and left due to the left limited staff after the Christmas holiday. The service received in the ER was excellent. The doctor whose name I didn’t get, but he was from New Jersey and nurse Gabby demonstrated great teamwork. They provided the best bedside manners I have ever seen. It was a pleasure to have there presence and receiving there services in the ER . Thanks for providing the best customer service ever.

Its hit and miss. I have to come here constantly for blood transfusions. Baylor has went down hill. ALOT. Even the doctors. I came in here back in August needing a blood transfusion... and the man that was working in the ER when I came in was rude. I have issues with my left arm being stuck, as they over-use it but cant use my right arm bc of a fistula. (Even tho they have before) and I've cried out my concerns for infiltration. Well... I had a fresh tattoo on my inner upper left arm and he grabbed my arm roughly and I said "watch out for my tat"... he then rudely said "your afraid of needles but not tattoos?" Then after I express my concerns about the I.V location, he then acted arrogant just bc he got the needle in. I told him it would infiltrate. Didn't listen. Made me feel invisible. Well... 2 hours later while I'm trying to sleep my arm starts to hurt, I look and it is swollen huge with blood pooling from under the skin all bc he wanted to be arrogant. (1 week later 1st pic). Infiltrated in another spot as well(2nd pic) They still don't care. God I wished I remembered his name. Bc I've never been treated so bad. You'd think as a top hospital in Houston with all the medical personnel... they'd have some kind of solution for "hard sticks" The attitudes of some of the nurses are unsympathetic. Given there are some very kind ones. Its already bad enough I got to be in there once or twice a month. Why can't they turn off the alarms? Why do I have to do it? Why do I have to un-do my own stuff just to go to the bathroom and set my wires back bc no one listens to the nurse call button? Out of the several times I been here, I actually had a working tv. Today. But i had to keep asking for the dr (like 6 times) just to get answers about something they did nothing about. This was 1st shift. But Anna I believe is her name is the KIND lady with short dark hair & glasses, she is a really good stick. And knows what she's doing. My nurse didn't wann listen to me. Then when I had to be hospitalized 2 weeks back in February, the nurses would bathe in perfume come in my room and make my migraine worse. It was awful. Caregiver workers shouldn't be allowed to wear perfume or cologne. Lots of ppl have asthma and are sensitive to smells. Apparently I have an attitude problem. Well.. when you suffer from BPD, PTSD, anxiety and depression... you'd have mood swings too. Who in their right mind wants to be poked and prodded every day? Woken up every hour? You'll have an attitude too. Seen a dead bedbugs next to hair as I left the ER today. Like I said. Ghetto and downhill.

I have to leave a review for sure...I never do this but this hospital visit was a very good experience considering I was there due to health reasons. So I stayed on YELLOW FLOOR OF 1600'S ROOMS. ALL nurses were so sweet and professional!!! Had a surgery and THE WHOLE SURGERY department were just amazing...I can not say a single thing wrong with this whole hospital They take their job serious and stay professional and make you feel heard and respected. Now days that is very hard to come by but this hospital definitely goes above and beyond for their patients!!!! If I can give a huge shout out to one very special nurse that goes above and beyond for her patients that would be NURSE NEMY!!! I was blessed with having her as a nurse and she is just down right AMAZING!!! I witnessed her on her shift taking the very best care of all of the patients assigned to her. She came in to her shift so happy and full of smiles she brought good vibes to her shift that night and made each one of us patients feel as if we were her main focus!!! It is rare to find a nurse with not only the professional talent but also the talent of making each patient feel as if they are very special to her and her only patient!!! Thank you also to Nurse Pinkie who checked in with me daily to see what her and her nursing staff could do to make my stay as comfortable as possible. Another wonderful nurse to take the spot light is definitely NURSE MASERA. Nurse Masera was so attentive, caring and very professional. She takes care of her patients with pride for sure.Thank you Nurse Masera for taking such good care of me the night i had my surgery and making me feel at comfort for sure. I tell you that this hospital and its staff take their job very serious and respect their patients and give the very best care possible. From the moment you walk in those doors you feel that your health and the care given is priority!!! Thank you Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center for all the great care that was given to me while at your hospital. And once again...THANK YOU NURSE PINKIE AND HUGE HUGS TO NURSE NEMY AND NURSE MASERA for all your kindness and taking such good care of me while I was on your floor while staying at the hospital.YALL ARE THE BEST!!! I made sure to ask the names of these nurses who spent so much time taking the very best care of me while admitted in their care Once again thank you all for your kindness, your professionalism, your dedication to your career, your hospital and your patients....YALL ARE ALL AMAZING!!!To ALL OF THE NURSE ASSISTANTS ON THE YELLOW FLOOR...YALL ROCK!!! When the nurse is busy yall step up like no other and get the job done...yall never made me want for anything for sure!! You all take care of us patients with the very best care so thank you all!! House keeping...just wow!!! Each morning i was greeted with your kindness and always making sure my room stayed fresh and clean...that means ALOT to me for sure. My over all experience and stay/surgery @Baylor St.Luke's was outstanding. I thank you all for your kindness, your professionalism while in your care. .YALL ARE THE BEST OF THE BEST!! Thank you again and many blessings to you all.

I'm never going to hospitals again, they are supposed to fix people, get them health again, but their hospital with a few others have totally ruined how I view the medical staff at any hospital, my left main pulmonary artery is completely closed, instead of figuring out why or trying to fix it, they throw up their hands and say we don't know what did it, I have a few masses and my left lung as well I've had three biopsies. Two out of three of them said it was aspergillus, the other said it's dead tissue which can turn in to infection, I've had 2 strokes in my brain, I'm having chest pain similar to a heart attack (ITS NOT) It hurts that bad, headaches passing out randomly, well they were talking about just removing my entire left lung but don't want to remove the entire left lung until it starts causing problems. But I mean closing my main pulmonary artery for next to no reason that they can explain is causing me problems I believe, I am being discharged Monday, on antifungal medication that I've never even tried before that they're not going to test it out for a couple days to make sure I react good to it. They're discharging me and then I'm going to pick it up from the pharmacy and starting to take it. I'm being discharged and the same exact condition I went to the emergency room in, so I'll go back to the beginning of this post, if a hospital is supposed to fix people and then let them loosen the wild, fix them and then let them loose in the wild. Don't just find out all their problems and then say oh sorry we can't help you, That's not what a hospital is here for. It's here to help you not hurt you
