The appointments team originally gave me a date for the scan after a month and a half. When the day finally came, I was surprised to find out that my scan was scheduled for 11:30, even though it was already 11:00. As a result, I now have to wait another two weeks to get the scan done. I also had travel plans that I had to postpone because of this mistake made by the appointments team.

I had to leave after waiting so long. There was no support letting me know. Apparently, she was I a procedure. It's polite to let you patient know.

Joann is awesome. She came in early to see my husband. His appointment was at 0700. Joann worked him in for his procedure. She is awesome and has a lovely bedside manner. She cares about her patients

Joann Mills, who did my mom’s urodynamics, did an amazing job. She took so much time explaining everything she was doing. Especially since it’s such an invasive procedure and it’s so intimate, it was extremely appreciated that she was so thorough. And, it was a Friday afternoon so extra bonus points for that! I wish all health care providers took as much time as Joann!

Good doctors but absolutely horrible support staff and support functions. You try to call to ask a question, you can't speak to anyone - the receptionist has to send your doctor or staff a message...sometimes they respond, sometimes they don't. You send a message in MyChart which is what they prefer ... they say they'll respond within 48 hours. Usually they don't. I sent a message on Fri Jul 11 around 11:49am. It's now Wed July 16 and I've received no response to my simple procedural question. Surgical scheduling is particularly bad. I had a procedure scheduled for a specific day and time. I never received any communication from BCM. Found out that both the day and the the time of my surgery had been changed with no notification or communication to me. I had to reschedule and the delay was two months. Same situation about 1 month later....except this time the surgery time was changed from 11:30am to 9am, which means checkin time of 7am. Since I live 100 miles away this was difficult for me. Took me several days of phone calls and MyChart messages just to get a response from scheduling. They weren't able to tell me why the time kept changing. Really horribly customer service..and after my procedure I will be changing my doctor and my organization and will no longer have anything to do with Baylor!! Absolutely ridiculous.
