Came here for happy hour on a whim and left with a new favorite spot! Conveniently located near the train stop but feels secure and private in the outdoor seating. Ordered the hot chicken sliders, boudain eggrolls, and the fried pickles which were by far my favorite. Salty and sour is a hard combination to get right but those fried pickles were really giving it to me, man. Thinking about them weeks later. Perfect batter, texture, thickness, I could go on. And the frozen drink flight? I don’t usually drink things like daiquiris and never order margaritas but my fiancé wanted to try this and it’s the best money I’ve ever spent on a drink I wouldn’t usually order. Everything single one of the flavors is delicious and strong but not overbearing. Staff were so inviting, the patrons were friendly and personal tidbit but I enjoyed all of the TVs playing different channels WITH SUBTITLES. Music was great as well.

First time at Winnie's and it didn't disappoint. Friends recommended the gumbo and it was excellent. I had a side of potato salad (menu recommendation) and it didn't feel heavy. Hamburgers looked great as well as the fried chicken salad.

Stopped in during their Christmas popup. They have a variety of regular drinks and also Christmas themed drinks. They also offer a lot of items to eat as well. Lots of seating available inside and outside. Will come visit again soon.

Came here with the family for the happy hour oysters. Heard about this place from the family. I love oysters so when they mentioned this place I had to go. Its a nice spot in small down town and the outside color is a pink beach color. Love it. The oysters were nice and fresh. It came with a delicious red sauce. I wanted to take some home. The oysters are nice and big. For sure worth it. You also have to try the cooked oyster, bomb.

Great spot for lunch when you are near downtown Houston. Their chicken and sausage gumbo was excellent, as was the shrimp poboy. The potato salad was creamy with hints of dill seasoning and sweet pickle bits. I loved it but be aware that it is unique. It is family friendly during the day but shifts to being more of a bar atmosphere in the evening with an adult crowd. They decorate in a big way between Thanksgiving and New Year, so definitely worth a visit then. Overall, it may not be very fancy, but the food is great and definitely worth a visit.
