WAZOBIA KITCHEN

First time visiting this store I got some puff-puff, jollof rice, and coconut rice. The puff-puff was good though. The rice was way worse than I expected dry as hell, no stew, nothing. The chicken tasted like it was just boiled in water with salt only. It wasn’t even fresh (it looked like it was from the day before). I can’t recommend Wazobia’s ready-to-eat food. There are a lot of African restaurants out here that serve much more flavorful dishes.

Literally only gave one piece of beef with my red stew. Do not recommend. There are other places around where your money will honored and worth it. Will never get my business again!

This place is truly a hidden 💎 I've been wanting to try them for a while now. Finally was able to since I was working in the area, listen, they didn't disappoint! 🙌🏾 The workers were very nice, helpful, and friendly which is one of the things I'm always looking out for. The food? THE FOOD WAS AMAZING!!! 💕 I typically frequent Komchop but that changed that day, love this place, definitely will be back. 🙃

I came to know this market after watching a food blog from YouTube in terms of African food in Houston. It also happens that It's been a long time since I was searching for a market that would sell beef skin and fresh goat meat with skin on. I've been looking on almost every big international market in Houston, and I'm glad to finally find it here! Inside the store, everything is neat and well organized. It doesn't seem hard to find what I'm looking for. The staff were nice and helpful. I also love the fresh and hot meat bread that they have. It's delicious. I'm looking forward to coming back in the future.
