Wang Shack

So stopped here today with my little brother. Have to say the service was really awesome and friendly. The staff definitely helped out to answer any questions we had and checked on us at the table several times to make sure we were taken care of. My brother got tenders while I got wings. his tenders were hot and fresh and of good flavor as he got their BBQ. As for me I tried their Pineapple Banging Wings and Spicy Garlic wings. The pineapple bang was BANGING!! They were awesome and great flavor, however the spicy garlic didn’t taste right in my books. The fries that came with the wings were good and fresh and definitely kept the heat for a while. (Other places go cold after a few minutes) The atmosphere while quiet and easy to hold a conversation was a little out there as it felt cramped as my little brother put it. We were amount three or four small groups in the dining area but I agree it did feel a little cramped. Other than that, the place is definitely worth a try if youre in the Katy area. Don’t take my word for it. Give it a try.

It was decent wings. As you can see covered and not tossed. Not better than WS so don’t expect that. Maybe battered fry would be better. But good sweet chili sauce but the lemon pepper was not it.

Outstanding customer service, I come here all the time to enjoy some lemon pepper wings. Atmosphere is great and I like that they have TVs for a variety of sports and entertainment. Only downside is the selection is a bit limited, but other than that this will remain a good spot for wings under my culinary adventures in the Katy area.

Drive by here everyday and was craving wings so I wanted to stop in and give them a try. The dining area is cozy and perfect for people to catch a game and eat. The kitchen is open so you can see everyone working hard and it’s very clean back there. Now the wings…. OH MY GAWSH! The flavor was on point! I got the dry Louisiana rub and the traditional hot wing combo with Hot Rub waffle fries. It was so full of flavor and I now have found my new local wang spot. Staff was so friendly too. Come check it out!

From the moment we arrived, our experience was great. Jayden was super kind, helped us choose the best options, and recommended an amazing wing flavor — absolutely delicious! The food was excellent — great taste, good portions, and the wait time was pleasant. However, one thing that did affect the experience a bit was that a blonde woman, who seemed to be the manager, was yelling at the employees loud enough for everyone in the restaurant to hear. It was uncomfortable because the team looked like they were doing a great job and working hard. I think the place could have a much better atmosphere if the staff were treated with more respect — they truly deserve it. Other than that, everything else was great. Big thanks to Jayden for the amazing service! It was my first time visiting, and I’ll definitely be coming back — hopefully to be served by him again.
