I recently tried the lunch special- shrimp and onion rings. It was amazing! The portion size was generous, and the flavors were spot-on. Everything was fresh and well-prepared. The shrimp was deliciously crispy, and the onion rings were not greasy—crispy and full of flavor. It’s clear the owner puts a lot of love into her cooking. I definitely will be returning to try the grilled fish.

Randomly stopped into Ventura’s Seafood on Hwy 6 @ West Rd. Was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. The fish and shrimp were fresh and crispy. Fries were crunchy and golden crispy. Hush puppies were bomb as well. Served with shrimp sauce, tartar, and ketchup. They even had Mexican Coke! It’s a small cozy place that could use some more business. Check it out!

I really like this place! Food is excellent - the only thing I don’t like is they do not offer free water for their customers!! All of their drinks are in a can or a bottle so if you buy a bottle of water and you drink it before you finish your meal, you have to BUY another bottle of water if you’re still thirsty. I’ve never seen this before and this alone makes me not want to come back. Good food, cozy atmosphere otherwise. But be prepared to pay for each and every drink - even water if you dine in.

Today was my first time here and I am impressed with the quality of the food ! I ordered a salmon and the flavor was exquisite, super fresh and perfectly cooked. The sides broccoli and red beans were super tasty as well , the beens had actually a lot of beens and bacon , not only juice as other places , while the broccoli was really fresh. I definitely recommend this place and I will come back soon !

Great seafood. This place has been open a few weeks. My dad said he read about it so off we went to check it out. They seem to be getting it together. Mom and son running the place, service a little slow. However the food was worth the wait. Fried shrimp was the bomb, don't eat fried foods to often anymore, so this was a treat.
