Have seen this place in passing for a while and decided to give it a try. We were so happy we did! We got the fried mushrooms to start. They were perfectly battered and not absolutely clumped in breading like some similar places nearby. The burgers were so fresh and delicious. The meat has really good flavor and the buns are nicely toasted. Condiments and veggies are off to the side for you to put them on yourself - which is perfect! The veggies were nice and cold, and super fresh as well. The fries that came with the burgers had a great potato taste to them. They were sturdy and and not soggy/greasy. The photos I included are of the SECOND burger I ordered. Maybe a bit gluttonous, however I tend to ensure my tastebuds aren’t deceiving me lol (it was just so good). From what we could tell, there was only one employee at the time we went doing all of the cooking and serving. Despite that, all of the tables were taken care of attentively with refills for drinks, little wait time for the food, and quick payment. I can’t stand when you have to wait ages on the check. It feels like a hostage situation. Anyways, the burgers are great and we will be returning to try more!

Went to Uncle Tony’s last Saturday and discovered they’re transitioning to Peri Peri Chicken. Decided to stay and try the burger, and I’m so glad I did. The burger was absolutely amazing and incredibly juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The Cajun fries were just as good: well-seasoned, crispy, and addictive. Even with the changes happening, the food did not disappoint at all. Definitely worth stopping by, and I’ll be back to try more. Ask for Maria! She’s the best of the best!

I'm gonna preface this by saying Uncle Tony's was my favorite burger joint in the area. The rattlesnake and their fried mushrooms were phenomenal. Atmosphere was nice and I have some great memories of the place. So the other day my son and I,and a couple of my friends were nearby and decided that Uncle Tony's would be great lunch so we go there. Sign by the road and the doors themselves still have the Uncle Tony's name and logo. But when we went inside, the atmosphere was off, it didn't look the same, and the waitress handed us a boring printout menu for Peri Peri Chicken. Never heard or seen any indication that Tony's was replaced. Don't know how long ago it happened either since when my friend asked the waitress she just said "since 11". Anyway, we were bummed, but decided to try this new restaurant out. Let's first talk about the staff. The waitress was a bit intrusive and pushy, and hovered around our table more than I'd like while we were looking over the menu. After our meal we had to flag her down for our checks even though we're we're the only occupied table. She got the checks mixed up too. Only other interaction was who I believe was the chef just asking how everything was. Now to the atmosphere: it had been redesigned in a boring, uninspired way completely devoid of liveliness. I don't know how else to explain in. Then there was the matter of the AC not running (could be because the thermostat was set to 84°F) so it was uncomfortable and they had a noisy fan on the floor to make up for it a little. Unpleasant, but could just be a temporary issue. Now to the food: I decided to go with the peri peri chicken wrap, thought it'd be good to get something with their signature chicken. Wrap was a good size but the chicken was very bland, which was crazy to me since this was supposed to be signature. It also had a kind of unappetizing color. The sauces they served were okay (though I got a different one from what I asked for). Something else that baffled me was the lettuce on the wrap was mostly just leaf ribs, which I personally am not a fan of whatsoever. My son loves fries and fried chicken, so that is what I got him. But after a few bites he refused to eat anymore. My friends were not impressed by their food either. So, in conclusion, we were very disappointed with our experience at Peri Peri Chicken. It's especially upsetting since we enjoyed Uncle Tony's so much. I used to always be happy to come to this spot. But this was the first and last time I go to Peri Peri. You'll find better chicken at Popeyes or Chick Fil A

New management and menu. The bar is gone and it seems cleaner/brighter. Ordered the double burger and it was fresh & good. Server was friendly. Country music and kids TV going on at the same time is interesting choice of sound ambiance… lol but nbd. I will come back and try the peri peri chicken that also looks good. Nice to support local businesses that aren’t owned by some big corporation.

Just tried this burger spot and I’m definitely coming back. The jalapeño rattlesnake burger was 🔥 super spicy and packed with flavor. The hand-cut fries were perfectly crispy, and the fried pickles might be the best I’ve had around here. Highly recommend checking them out!
