I was craving real pasta, not a chain, and this place exceeded my expectations. Small, intimate spot with amazing food. The bread is incredible, the salmon was perfectly crisp, and the pasta was full of flavor. Food took a little longer, but it was absolutely worth it , and definitely nothing some wine couldn’t distract me from. I also have ordered through Uber eats two times after visiting the establishment and even the delivery is as tasty and beautifully packaged! Keep up the great work guys!

I have been trying to figure out how to do this review because I really enjoy leaving raving, amazing reviews. Unfortunately, this will not be that. Let’s start with the positives: + Quiet spot that only had a few other tables on a Friday night, which was REALLY NICE after a long, stressful work week. + Our kiddos (4 yo and 12 yo) enjoyed the experience and, since the food came out relatively quickly, we didn’t have grumpy faces. If you’re a parent, you understand how important quick service can be when you’ve already waited too long to decide where to have dinner. + The fresh bread is yummy. They didn’t offer it or mention it, though. So if we hadn’t seen people talking about it in the reviews, we would’ve never known to ask. + The bathrooms are well maintained and smell clean and fresh. Also really nice when you have kids because no one wants to manage small hands and bodies in a questionable space haha + Wait staff were attentive Ok, now the dreaded negatives: - - - They charge a fee for paying with anything other than cash. I get it. I ran a small business for over 12 years. Add it to your price and stop doing this. Had I known this ahead of time, I would have never come. - - While the bread was yummy, the seasoned oil came with a long black hair in it. No one in our family has that hair. And I’m sorry, but that is an immediate appetite killer for me. Did I say anything? No. Just pulled it off the table and tried to maintain composure. Would they have addressed it? Probably. Then everyone gets awkward and embarrassed and the kids would’ve been grossed out and not wanted to eat. - I kept waiting to be impressed by one of the food items. It never happened. Life is too expensive at this point to spend money on a sit down meal that doesn’t ‘wow’ at some point. - The salad looked like a bagged salad from HEB. I ordered the large Caesar so our family could share it (only 3 of us eat salad). It came out with dressing on the side that tasted like it came from a bottle or the bagged salad packets and had a touch of sweetness. Making Caesar dressing from scratch is crazy easy, this feels like laziness. The lettuce looked like it was the cuts you’d see in a bagged salad, not something they chopped in the kitchen. There were only 5 croutons and a few dry shaved bits of Parmesan on top. It was sad and I had to ration croutons. I’ve never counted croutons in my life but when there are only five, you don’t have to try. - The cheese bread is cheese toasted on top of baguettes. Nothing special and would not order again, but the marinara was tasty. I’m kind of picky about marinara and don’t tend to enjoy it so that was almost exciting, I guess. - We ordered a 14” pizza with pepperoni and ricotta. This is our favorite go-to pizza order at Grimaldi’s and Italian locations because a lot of typical pizza places don’t have ricotta as a topping choice, so nice surprise. Except the ricotta tasted like milk that is just starting to spoil. Even my husband, who would love any pizza from any place, was turned off and said he wouldn’t eat pizza there again. That tells me it’s not just me being picky. Other basic info, hubs and I had water and lemon, kiddos had lemonade- that was fine. Bill total was fine except for the credit card fee. Part of me wondered if I ordered something else, if it would’ve gone better, but I don’t intend to try again. There’s just too many new places to try or old favorites to visit again here in Houston area.

This place gives an urban Italian vibe. I had the Pasta modo mio and the Tiramisu cake. I typically don’t get desert but this cake was lovely. I liked the pasta and it didn’t have too much sauce. Customer service was seamless

Tried this restaurant out a few weeks ago and definitely will be back. The service was superb and the food was so delicious. The food we ordered: Buffalo Chicken Pizza, Lasagna, Fettuccine Alfredo and Tortellini with Chicken. For dessert we had the Limoncello Cake, Tiramisu and the Italian cream cake, they were all so good and hard to choose a fave. Highly recommend to eat here you will not be disappointed.

This restaurant is incredibly good. I had dinner there twice, and both times were fantastic. The atmosphere is lively and the staff is kind and attentive. We had a great time!
