Very friendly family run business. The staff is helpful and kind and the food is delicious. They also sell aguasfrescas here.

South Carolinians visiting Houston. My kiddos wanted authentic tacos. Came here due to the 5 star rating on Google and I can TASTE why! Fresh, delicious, quality food, and big portions for a great price! In addition, great and friendly customer service. They make you feel like family. We’ll be back here when we visit again. It’ll definitely be a place to visit on the regular.

The flautas (4 for about 7 bucks) were absolutely perfect. Chicken was moist and flavorful and the tortillas were cooked perfectly. I am so glad that I found this little gem and will definitely be back. Forgot to take a pic before eating so here's my leftovers. 2 flautas were more than enough for lunch, so now I have dinner for later!

I found my grandma y'all. I did I did. And guess what? She's from Mexican decent. Umm hmm. Sho is. I'm adopting this as my family y'all. Sho am. Look! If you drive too fast you well miss this place. It is very well hidden between a full Mexican restaurant and a Bar and Grill. Imagine that... A small mom and pop Mexican tortilla factory with authentic Mexican hand made food right next to a full "Tex Mex" Mexican restaurant. And guess what else? This mom and pop shop runs circles around every single so called Authentic Mexican restaurant I've ever been to in Texas. Now when I say authentic here I mean AUTHENTIC. Yes. All caps. I'm screaming it baby. Look. They have zero menu. I only knew it served food because I was driving slowly in the parking lot when I discovered a long barely able to read sign that once approached saw posters of food on the window. So being curious as to what a tortilleria really was I went inside. The place has zero store front appeal. It is by definition a hole in the wall. It's a clean hole yet still a hole. I asked what was under the little buffet tins behind the counter and the young courteous gentleman lifted each lid explaining to me the options for the day. The Birra fajita meat and roasted chicken grabbed my attention. So I ordered what turned out to be the best quesabirra taco (I probably butchered that spelling) that I believe could possibly exist. And I believe he was 1 of 2 people there that could speak English. That's says a lot about the food. Trust me. It does. It means authenticity at it's finest with no America influences. (Mexican grandma house stuff you know.) 3 days after that amazing experience I went back for more and this time enough for the whole family. Got me some tacos and some fresh roasted chicken AND some Caldo soup. And let me tell you without exaggeration. Hands down the BEST Caldo and also Roasted chicken I've ever had on planet earth. That's 3 total best ofs! So good that the little older lady in the back corner who made it along with their fresh tortillas that they make in house is made by those marvelous wise hands... Is officially my grandma. She don't know no it yet; but I promise you, Going forward, when I go by there I will announce to the family, "let's go to grandmas house". Visit Grandma and Prosper!
