The food was absolutely delicious. I was especially impressed by the Baked BBQ Bun; the crust was perfectly crispy, and the filling was well-seasoned and flavorful without being overwhelming. I also really enjoyed the siu mai, which tasted fresh and authentic. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made the whole dining experience even better. I’d definitely come back and recommend this place to others

First round had the Wontons in Hot & Spicy Sauce which was alright, as well as the Steamed Rice with Minced Beef and Egg which I also thought was alright. Second round got the Pan Fried Noodles with BBQ Pork which I thought had great flavor but was a bit dry. Adding some chili sauce made it better. Then also tried the Baked BBQ Pork Buns which were really really good: soft, crispy, sweet, savory. Amazing! For dessert the Sweet Osmanthus Jelly was just not for me, but the Lava Custard Sesame Balls were increeeedible.

Tim Ho Wan has become one of my family and I’s favorite dim sum places to stop by when we’re in Houston. Their dishes are less oily than the average dim sum places. Overall super light and delicious. You can’t go wrong with any of their shrimp dishes - super sweet and savory. The portions are decent. Most dishes come with enough to split 1 piece per person for 3-4 persons. My all-time favorites are the steamed pork dumplings with shrimp, steamed rice rolls with shrimp, blanched lettuce, and lava custard sesame balls!

We came for an early lunch right when they opened so the service was quick and efficient. The server was attentive and checked on us several times. We enjoyed all the dishes that were ordered. Not too salty or greasy like other dim sum joints and light enough to grab bubble tea afterwards!

Went on Saturday night, and had a wonderful meal! Service was fantastic, and the food was even better. Definitely do not skip on the baked pork buns! It has a sweet crust on top sort of like a concha and it’s absolutely heavenly. The soup dumplings were a delight, and the cocktails were a pleasant surprise as well.
