The Winfield's Chocolate Bar

The history of The Chocolate Bar is as rich as the experience it self. The sweet and charming woman at the counter poured an excellent glass of wine that was rich in flavor. Not your cheap flavored wine porter either. Good quality. The ice cream was my other goal to try, and the double espresso ice cream is a MUST TRY. It is excellent mouth texture and pairs well with the wine. Too well in fact. An addictive combo. I also topped the snow berry ice cream to the double espresso. It’s a solid choice if you are looking for a strong winter seasonal concept and enjoy a lighter taste than the dark notes of other choices. That said if you enjoy a chocolate experience come here to enrich yourself in that world. The espresso items are pulled from actual espresso machines. If you like the chocolate and coffee. Try this place. Personally when I was a child this place was home to some wild concepts. Now the place has truly evolved into high quality chocolate experiences and products. Alongside that a staff that is seemingly capable of guiding you through your tenure chocolate education. 5/5 a Houston must try.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Winfield’s Chocolate Bar – Houston even with my car stalled and a tow on the way, this place made me feel held. sima, who was working that night, offered me water and genuine kindness while i waited outside. it wasn’t just good service — it was real, human warmth. inside? the vibe is magic. bright displays, old-school charm, and a massive dessert case that stops you in your tracks. their chocolate-dipped strawberries were perfect — rich but not overpowering, super fresh, beautifully made. you’ll also find artisan chocolates, housemade gelato, layered cakes, and even seasonal showstoppers (hello, pumpkin chocolate sculptures). whether you’re looking for a last-minute treat, dessert shop near river oaks, or just need a small moment of comfort — this is it. sweet staff. stunning desserts. memorable energy.

Drove by the location on Augusta and thought we’d give it a try. I’m glad we did because this place is fantastic! We overheard a customer comment on his way out “This is the best ice cream I’ve ever had” so we taste tested a few flavors and he was right. We ended up buying a slice of Any Day’s A Holiday cake and it was unbelievably good. My pictures don’t do it justice, it was four layers of perfection. So many other cute chocolate treats, truffles, and even treats for dogs. I have to mention how wonderful the staff was too. The three young ladies working there were so friendly and knowledgeable about the products and ingredients. They made the experience even better! Definitely returning to this location.

Delicious selections and lovely customer service. The young male shop assistant with glasses was so kind and helpful and elevated our experience by being kind and helpful even when we popped in 20 mins before closing time. Thank you!

I just wanted to say how much I absolutely love your Nutella iced coffee! It's hands down one of my favorite drinks, and your service is always amazing. I also wanted to make a suggestion—would it be possible to have your coffees available on DoorDash or UberEats? I’d honestly order from you every day if it were an option!💖
