Consistently awesome food! I am originally from southeast Louisiana, so I am very particular on certain dishes. The station never disappoints. The fish and shrimp are always fried to perfection, and affordable! I love that I can feed my family of 5 for about 40$ I also have to mention the customer service. Excellent every time. Even dating back to when they were located on Highway 6! The owner makes you feel that he is honored to share his food with you. Please support this business !! We have to keep places like this alive.

Best gumbo, and fried seafood you will find south of New orleans. Came through just to get a snack and ended up leaving with heaven in a bag. Don't sleep on this place, or you're missing out.

I stopped by The Station with my wife a couple of weeks ago. She was a little skeptical since the restaurant is inside a gas station, but the area they had for the restaurant was clean and the team working there were really nice. We both ordered the 4 fish and 4 shrimp plates, and my wife also got an order of the deep fried peach cobbler. The food was a perfect 10/10, everything was fresh and the flavor was top tier. Direct quote from my wife - "I hate to say it, but if I had to choose between this cobbler and my mama's, my mama would lose hands down". We were pretty hungry when we picked up the food, and that entire plate was food to my soul. Gas station vibes might make you think twice, but the food and service are absolutely worth making the stop to grab a quick dinner to go.

The is the best fried fish and shrimp!! We have been following him for his great food for years- FM 1960 a little building, drive thru only. Then Huffmeister in a shopping strip. Then on Hwy 6 in a strip. Now he couldn’t get any closer- 2 streets from our house on FM 529! Red beans and rice, fries, gumbo are so good. And to end the meal with a fried peach cobbler bread pudding.

No rating for atmosphere since that’s not what it’s about since it’s set in the gas station. It’s about the food which after ordering from then three times is on point each and every time. The service has been top notch as well. They are definitely falling into our routine for food to pick up on our ordering out evenings any time we want seafood
