The Roof Restaurant + Lounge

First, we did show up 10 minutes late to our reservation but were seated about 5 minutes later. Our server was nice and did ask the DJ to turn the music down a bit. To be honest, for what is supposed to be an intimate experience, it was entirely too loud. We would have moved outside, but it was too windy. We ordered to drinks from the bar and the crawfish fries, which came out about 25 minutes later. After we ordered our food and two more drinks, the food came out around 30 minutes later. Shrimp pasta and spinach ravioli. For the price we paid, we expected the sauce to be the correct consistency. The Parmesan sauce was water consistency. The 2 drinks we ordered with our food did not come out until 15 minutes after our food (around 45 minutes later). Also, be aware, you are hit with an automatic gratuity. See the receipt attached. Also to consider, there was a party of around 20ish people and perhaps 8-10 more inside the restaurant (including outside).

Had my birthday dinner here organized by my friends. This place is a vibe, though that night it was empty. I love the dim atmosphere, and the rooftop outdoors section. Will definitely come back when the weather gets warmer. You don't come here for the food, so don't hype yourself up for that. My lamb chops were just ok, paired with some bland broccoli and a mountain of mashed potatoes lol. The drinks though, are delicious and strong. Get you some cocktails. Thank you to the staff for making my night special.

-1 The absolute worst experience I have ever had with a restaurant. I’ve came to this location many times before however it’s been about two years since the last time I visited. We ordered the jambalaya stuffed wings along with the shrimp, grits and crab. This chicken tasted old and like they had just took it out of the freezer without letting it thaw before they cook it. It was so horribly disgusting. I gagged and literally had to run to the bathroom because I could not swallow the chicken. The grits were lumpy, and I was able to pull out clumps of grits. The crap was about the only thing that tasted halfway decent. The manager walked away stating she will call the owner and see what she could do. I explained to her I was not paying for any of that, as it was not appealing, and it did not get eaten only tasted at that point she threatened to call the police on me and I advised her to do so. I begged her to taste the chicken and she refused. On top of that the waiter was absolutely nasty during the entire exchange and I was supposed to pay a gratuity 🤨 I wish the hell I would. Either way RUNNNNN this place have sank to the depths of sheol

Dined here for a birthday dinner, which was the biggest mistake. I ordered the lamb chops. What restaurant serves this...look at the plate 🤨 The lamb chops tasted like they were boiled, no seasonimg just a sauce thrown on top for taste, and the broccoli was cold. I had to send my drink back because it was not the top shelf I asked for. The birthday girl asked for a typical top shelf drink, which they didn't have. She settled for a well version and was given a splash of liquor. Long story short we left and went to another establishment.

Went here with my coworkers and I must say this was very disappointing!!!! The food was so-so, the service....well we think the waiter was like 2 business days late each time. Why did it take so long to bring our drinks when we were the only group there? Seemed very all over the place. We were told different prices for meals. Different times for happy hour compared to what was advertised on the website. Just a mess. Cheesecake is usually an appealing dessert but not this one. And to top it off there was a small roach walking on the wall where we ate. Definitely not going back.
