The Rig

This has an old Houston vibe to it. I had a chicken queso and fries- the food was hot, service was great and the bar had a great vibe to it. It is located in the Cambria hotel in Downtown Houston. The Cambria hotel is also an amazing place to stay and if you get a room on one of the higher floors- the view is amazing.

Some of the best bartenders EVER. Kept me laughing the whole time. Joe and Kevin were awesome tonight.🥰 The food was BEYOND AMAZING as well. ❤

Very pretty bar on the second landing in the Cambria hotel. Attentive staff and good food and cocktails.

Drinks were good and the service was great! Our bartender, Omar, was so fun and made the experience the best. He had great energy and we had such a good time talking with him. Can’t wait to come back to Houston :)

They may have felt overwhelmed, but service was somewhere between slow to non-existent. When they did appear, they were polite. They appeared visibly in a difficult and possibly understaffed situation. We almost left, but they showed up as we were rising. My husband ordered the eggs, bacon, and toast and those were all very good. I ordered the egg white omelet which was pretty tasteless. It was quiet and that was nice.
