I had an incredible experience at New Heights Massage with Miriam, supported by Dolly. From the first conversation, I knew the connection would be good—and it absolutely was. Miriam is deeply intuitive, informative, and spiritually grounded. Her work felt energetically cleansing, almost Reiki-like, while still being truly therapeutic. I came in with lower back pain around my L5, and her deep tissue work—especially on my glutes and hips—combined with assisted stretching brought noticeable relief. The pressure was just right, and the session felt both healing and grounding. It honestly reminded me of the bodywork I experienced during a wellness retreat in the Amazon in Peru—very cultural, intuitive, and intentional. She’s currently in a temporary space, which some might underestimate, but don’t. I’ve had massages at luxury spas like the Four Seasons, and I still chose to come here—and I don’t regret it at all. Sometimes bells and whistles matter, but this was about real healing, good energy, and genuine care—and that’s exactly what I received. I referred 2 people within 30 minutes of leaving. Highly recommend. This practice is going to grow and reach great heights of success.

Update 2/6/26: if you’re stiff and/or sore, I’d highly recommend the stretching beforehand as it helped my body loosen up for the massage afterwards. While both Miriam (prior massage) and Dolly (current massage) have very firm pressure, Dolly is deeper, if that’s your preference. If you're looking for a luxurious spa experience, this would not be the right place for you. However, if you're looking for great quality and value in your experience, look no further. I was in town to visit family and had a crick in my back so was hoping to find a place that could get me in quickly. Miriam incorporates a number of different modalities in her massages, which I appreciated as my lower back and hip needed stretching to work on the pain. The facial, aromatherapy and hot stones were a bonus and added to a multi-sensoral experience. I made another appointment for the following week before I head home. The place is nondescript and is a red building in the back of the address so entrance is off of Durham (between 18th and 19th). Communication was great as she sent a picture of the place as well as shared location prior to the appointment.

Miriam and Jasmine gave my husband and I the best deep tissue massages. We play a lot of sports and lift weights, so we came in with very sore muscles looking for help with recovery. Miriam and Jasmine worked so very hard to give us exactly that with such a high level of care and kindness. I really appreciated the level of communication leading up to the massage as well. We will absolutely be back, and I couldn’t recommend them enough!

I bought a Groupon for a couple's massage to use around Valentine's Day for this business and made an appointment with them. They confirmed, sent me parking info and everything--- i booked weeks ahead to ensure we could get in the day before Valentine's Day. Three days before our appointment, they reach out to me to let me know they are no longer accepting Groupon and that I should reach out to Groupon to receive a refund. I'm disappointed, Groupon wouldn't refund me back to my original payment method, only groupon credit. Very disappointing because I booked weeks in advance and am now at a loss.

Could not agree more with the previous reviewer this without a doubt is a “GEM” do not hesitate to book this massage experience my daughter and I did this for a girls day . It was absolutely delightful 🤩 their knowledge, ability, kindness and customer service were above and beyond. We will be back!! What can we say? We are beyond impressed!! Also, excellent communication both before making sure we knew where to park, etc. leading up to and during to make sure you’re comfortable.
