I cannot say enough good things about The Gelatist, If you are in Fulshear, this is a must-visit. The atmosphere is top-tier; it’s such a lovely spot to hang out. The gelato and cappuccino itself was perfection—honestly some of the best I’ve ever tasted. But what really set this place apart was the service. Ema, the owner, took care of us and she was so kind and welcoming. You can really tell she cares about her business and her customers. We will definitely be back soon!"

Chic, Family-Friendly Spot for a Sweet Treat This place offers a wide variety of gelato flavors—plenty to satisfy any craving. In addition to the gelato, they have an impressive selection of cakes, pies, and pastries. We ordered a warm chocolate chip cookie, which was simple but delicious. I highly recommend the cappuccino—it was a generous size for the price and had great flavor. The tiramisu was a bit on the dry side and didn’t follow the traditional preparation (no rum-soaked ladyfingers), but it was still enjoyable. The kids loved choosing their own toppings for the gelato, which added a fun touch. The interior has a sleek, modern design with a cozy atmosphere. There’s a small seating area in the back that makes a perfect photo op for families or friends. Final thoughts: Great spot to catch up with a friend or treat the kids. I’d definitely return if I’m in the area.

This was well worth the drive from Richmond. Super rich gelato, and a very comfortable eating area. The dark chocolate is actually really dark chocolate! Highly recommend if you're in the area, or just want to go for a drive to get some great gelato!

I hate to say this because I really like this place, but this last visit was disappointing. I’ve been coming to The Gelatist consistently for about six months. I usually get the gelato (which is really good), and recently I started getting the Dubai cookie instead. The first two times, the cookie was large and literally took me 2–3 days to finish. Today I went back craving it again, and the cookie was significantly smaller, almost half the size, but still the same price. I want to be fair, so I’ll say it’s possible I’m wrong, but this was my third Dubai cookie and the size difference was very noticeable. That feels like shrinkflation, and I don’t love paying the same $6 for what’s now basically a medium cookie. I’m still giving 4 stars because the quality is good and I’ve had great experiences here overall, but I really hope this was just a one off and not a permanent change.
