The Frio Grill

My husband and I had our wedding reception here and I wanted to write a review to share with others how incredible everything was. Throughout the process, I was never stressed, there were no issues or drama at all during the entire event, and all of our guests had a great time. If I had it to do all over again, I wouldn’t change a thing (and I would do it again because we had such a great time)! We used The Barn and the attached covered patio, it was absolutely perfect! Everything on the catering menu is delicious, we got the taco dinner and added the King Ranch Dip and Loaded Tots (crowd favorite). All of our guests told us the food was amazing, and it was. The atmosphere was so great, the bar staff working with us were amazing. I have too many good things to say about the event. They were even able to refer a DJ to us and she was the absolute best. Last of all, Andi (who is the manager/coordinator at The Frio) was so amazing. She spent so much time with my family at various points up until our event answering questions and going over details with us. She was such a pleasure to work with and I cannot thank her enough for everything she did for us. If you are looking for a place to have an event, any kind of event, please do not miss out on this place!!

Found this place by a Google search for burgers and playground… while there is no official playground they have a large outdoor play yard for kids of all ages and sizes 😊😊. They have small beach balls 🏀 and a giant connect 4 game . We went with 2 young kids and they had a blast. The food was delicious and the service was even more than we expected. Above and beyond to make us feel welcome, even with 2 little kids in tow. I ordered the Luckenbach Chicken Sandwich and my nephew got the Frio burger 🍔. If you’re in the area it’s worth a stop.

Had a great lunch at The Frio Grill! Steve was our server and honestly made the whole experience—super attentive and on it from start to finish. Food came out fast and exactly how we ordered it. Burger was spot-on, chicken strips were crispy and delicious, and the Caesar salad and mac & cheese hit the spot. We had a couple of kiddos with us and the outdoor play area was a big win. It was a little early for a beer, but you can tell this place probably gets lively at night. Solid service, tasty menu, and good vibes all around.

Lucky enough to get to try their new menu items tonight. Everything was fantastic. The braised ribs were my favorite. Cadillac Rita was top notch. I can't remember the name of the app I likes best but it was almost like a Philly cheesesteak egg roll. The deserts were amazing. The pecan pie! The banana bread pudding..omg!

Had to call the waitress several times for refills for drinks (water). The food was ok, definitely not prepared fresh and local. The decor was the old sometime grill feel.
