First time here and I must say across the board it was a great place and time. All the staff looked really happy which is rare this day and age lol. The food was great and so were the drinks😉. Kid friendly, outdoor seating and a very relaxed atmosphere. They also have an entire outdoor area with live music, bar and food. Definitely will be back. We also happened to attend a concert there. Which I also recommend attending.

My husband and I had our wedding reception here and I wanted to write a review to share with others how incredible everything was. Throughout the process, I was never stressed, there were no issues or drama at all during the entire event, and all of our guests had a great time. If I had it to do all over again, I wouldn’t change a thing (and I would do it again because we had such a great time)! We used The Barn and the attached covered patio, it was absolutely perfect! Everything on the catering menu is delicious, we got the taco dinner and added the King Ranch Dip and Loaded Tots (crowd favorite). All of our guests told us the food was amazing, and it was. The atmosphere was so great, the bar staff working with us were amazing. I have too many good things to say about the event. They were even able to refer a DJ to us and she was the absolute best. Last of all, Andi (who is the manager/coordinator at The Frio) was so amazing. She spent so much time with my family at various points up until our event answering questions and going over details with us. She was such a pleasure to work with and I cannot thank her enough for everything she did for us. If you are looking for a place to have an event, any kind of event, please do not miss out on this place!!

Service was okay. Food kinda really bad. To start, I didn’t think you could mess up sausage gravy but I guess where there is a will there’s a way and by golly they had the will cause they found a way. All the gravy our table got the gravy was separating. Like it was curdling and of course that made the taste not so good. 5 of us ordered biscuits and gravy and 5 of us got gravy that was looking rough. One of the orders of biscuits and gravy came out cold. So that’s 5 of us that didn’t eat our food. 3 people got hamburgers and asked for medium well and those came out more than well done. One person asked for the chicken burger that came with pineapple and had asked the waitress no pineapple but for some reason the chicken burger came out with two slices of pineapple as thick as the chicken. Two people ordered eggs one of them being a kids eggs. Well, we never got the kids eggs to find out later both order of eggs came in one bowl. I am hoping they were just having an off day cause at least 6 out of the 18 peoples food was okay. They all got waffles and chicken. Just avoid the gravy

First allow me to inform you that on Sundays, the only have their limited Brunch menu available. We were seated around 3:30 l was really craving a Pork Chop 🥺. I proceeded to order the "Green Chilli Sausage Skillet" description reads"Fire roasted hatch chiles and chunks of slow smoked country sausage cooked together with scrambled eggs and hash browns. Covered in melted cheese and placed on a sizzling platter." Allow me to tell you about the non-existant hash browns that came in a very thin layer measuring 2.5 x 2 inch square tucked on the bottom middle of my dish. Needless to say for $17.95 l was not happy and not intending to go back. I ate about a third of what's in the picture all while wondering where the hash browns were and brought the rest home. This picture is my leftovers.

Found this place by a Google search for burgers and playground… while there is no official playground they have a large outdoor play yard for kids of all ages and sizes 😊😊. They have small beach balls 🏀 and a giant connect 4 game . We went with 2 young kids and they had a blast. The food was delicious and the service was even more than we expected. Above and beyond to make us feel welcome, even with 2 little kids in tow. I ordered the Luckenbach Chicken Sandwich and my nephew got the Frio burger 🍔. If you’re in the area it’s worth a stop.
