My husband wanted to take us to a place called chocolate bar. Think we ended up at another location because he said this wasn’t it. However, we were so thrilled that his search led us to this wonderful place!!! We were so happy with the service, quality and quantity of selections. The staff was so patient to answer our questions. My son is allergic to all nuts and one of the servers recommended which ice cream would work for him and even took time to sanitize the scooper again to make sure. He said he also dealt with same issue. The other two young ladies were so patient as we took our time trying to figure out what type of cake we wanted. We were also surprised how affordable it was for the amount. Please don’t change that😃 I got the lemon velvet (delicious!) and my son got the Oreo cookies. Most of the scoop was gone by the time we sat down to enjoy it-as you can tell from the picture😆 Overall it was a wonderful experience and we will be back when we visit Houston again. Thank you!

I'm sorry to say don't waste your money at places, that strive on just making products looking beautiful. Taste is also part of the experience as well. As, for mine, my daughter surprised me with this trip for Mother's Day. We ordered the Chocolate mousse cake with toffee candy and it had a beautiful presentation once served. But once you take a bit omg! super dry and flavorless , no Chocolate flavor or moister experience that with delicious flavors that would cause an amazing feeling in your mouth, but only dissatisfaction. This product felt like it wasn't made fresh that morning. You probably get better soft and delicious tasting pastries at you local bakery or even at HEB and Wal Mart. Also we didn't bother to try finish the cake. NO THANKS! on going back there again.

If you're hankering for chocolate, this chocolate bar is an obvious choice to visit. Lots of different chocolate options and who doesn't like free samples? I settled on a scoop of ice cream and I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the scoop. Enough to hit the spot, for sure. The safe was very friendly too. It was a fun, after dinner spot to check out.

Everything looks delicious. I keep telling my family we need the chocolate turkey but I don't think they will let me on the plane with it. If you like chocolate this is the place to go. Definitely one of my favorite dessert places ive been to. They have a couple different cakes but I settled on a pecan brownie with chocolate ice cream and a chocolate covered cherry on top.

I love anything chocolate, and I’m always on the lookout for a place that will cater to my chocolate obsession in more ways than one. An establishment that does exactly that is Winfield’s Chocolate Bar in Rice Village. Winfield’s makes their own cakes, ice cream, pies, cookies, candies, and other sweet treats. They are probably best known for their cakes, which feature sizable slices and rich flavors. The pieces of cake are BIG; so large, in fact, that you can easily cut them up and share with another person, possibly even two people. Visiting Winfield’s Chocolate Bar can be a bit overwhelming, as there are so many delectable options. There is no possible way to choose a single favorite. The Tres Leches, Tiramisu, and Tuxedo Cheesecake are all divine, and so are the many cakes, like Any Day’s a Holiday, Red Velvet, Brownie Supreme, and more. If you decide to dine- in, and I recommend you do, then you will need to grab a beverage to wash down the sweet goodness. Specialty coffee and espresso make the visit complete. I usually go for a large cup of black Americano, since I’ve already got my fill of sugar from the food and don’t feel I need any more. But there are lots more beverage choices, all a perfect match for your sugary treat of choice. They have wine, too, sold by the glass or bottle. And when you leave, well, let’s just say there are countless pre- packaged sweet treats you can take home, or you can choose something from behind the counter and have it boxed and ready to go. I love chocolate, and Winfield’s Chocolate Bar is the perfect way to satisfy my cravings. They have plenty of seating, and even a back patio for when the weather is agreeable. It’s an excellent place for sweet foods and tasty beverages, right here in Houston’s Rice Village.
