We had the most amazing time at The Chefs Table! It was highly recommended on a few facebook groups I am in and I am so glad I took the recommendation. I wanted a nice, unique experience to celebrate my husband’s 30th birthday. Our server was very knowledgeable and made great recommendations. Everything from the dip appetizer to the chicken Florentine was simply incredible. The best meal he has ever had, so thank you for a making his birthday one he will never forget!

Pros: interesting menu, well balanced flavorful dishes, fantastic service, cozy and private atmosphere Cons: a bit expensive Each booth has lots of privacy, so this is a great place for a quite, private, romantic dinner or other special occasion. No reservations necessary! The menu is rather interesting, ranging from standard fare such as filet mignon to the truly unusual such as ostrich steak. The flavors on every dish are well balanced and complement each other; each dish is a flavor adventure. Portion sizes for savory food are normal (which I prefer), while desserts are American-sized. While I think the scrumptious food and excellent service warrant the high price, my friends did not: I would recommend this place for special occasions only. And what a special occasion it will be 🤤!

We made a reservation for a quiet booth on a Friday night. It turned out to be a beautiful evening so we asked for outside seating when we arrived and they switched us with no issues. We got there at 5 so we were able to try the happy hour specials. The margaritas were our favorite. Our server Jane was excellent and explained all the dishes perfectly. Husband had the ostrich and prawns-loved it. I had chicken florentine- awesome. The wine choice was extensive and the bottle we had was very nice. Tried a few sides and no complaints. Creme brulee and cappuccino were perfect. Can't wait to go back!

Service was so great. It was our first time and our waiter answered all.of our questions honestly and gave us suggestions. The food would have gotten 5, but the Mac and cheese could have been more cheesy and the veggies has this sauce that was ok. Maybe get them with out it. However the lamb, clamp chowder, lobster pasta, 5 cheese potatoes were sooo delicious. This is definitely a place to go in Houston. OH the spiced budding for desert was everything. The dessert is the birthday portion size not the paid for dessert.
