The Burger House

I will shill this place till I die I have been going to this burger place near me for the past 13 years since I was a kid and have no intentions of stopping anytime soon. Great fire-grilled burgers owned by a small mom-and-pop family with consistently delicious flavor, plenty of toppings to choose from, and a simple but robust salad bar to dress your burger with. The house sauce is basic, but a perfect compliment to the burger and fries. Their handmade potato bun is flaky, and puffy, perfect for holding everything! Onion rings and fried shrimp combos are also fully prepared in-house which I also highly recommend! Turkey and chicken burgers also come out tender and juicy, so it's another great alternate option.

Fresh baked buns make their giant burger patties taste amazing. On highway 6 between Beechnut and Bissonnet. My picky daughter finished her entire burger. Reasonable price.

My daughter and I tried this place out as I recognized that they have been in business at least 12 years. So we tried it and the service was on point and the burgers were great too. When you have tea, the big question is, is it fresh or stale? Well, they passed the test: fresh! Also, they have a bar setup with condiments including lettuce, tomatoes, onions, etc., and again, very fresh! I went into the restroom, and although this place is dated, the restroom was clean and soap and paper towels were available. If you are in the area or just want a great burger, come on out and try it out.

Great food, hot & fresh off the grill. Awesome portion size for the price. Friendly service. Clean place. Lovely mom&pop shop. Will definitely come back.

It's the taste of a real, homemade burger that's hard to find these days. The restaurant is also very clean and well-maintained, and the owner is incredibly friendly.
