Thaicoon was a decent experience overall. The pad thai had good flavor, but it was a bit heavy on the carrots and lighter on the meat than expected, which made it feel slightly unbalanced. The dish was still enjoyable, just not quite what I was hoping for. Service was fine, and the overall experience was okay. It’s a solid option if you’re craving Thai food, with some room for improvement.

Excellent food, excellent interior, modern feel… but back hallway seems dangerous because all their “stuff” is stacked back there but the bathrooms are right at the front as you enter the hallway, so it’s okay, but it’s an eyesore. Additionally, even though we have now been here 3 times in the last month(!), minus one star because their payment system automatically has tips set to 20,22,25% or some ridiculous tip amount. THIS IS CRAZY! And they are holding the handheld thing at your table while you’re choosing the tip and paying so it’s a bit awkward. We have had green and red curries, pad Thai, som tam (papaya salad), and even some chicken wings during their happy hour. Lots of specials, and 5 levels of spice.

10-28-2025 We have always enjoyed Thaicoon and their many GF options , but today was absolutely the best dining experience. (Helped make up for the terrible breakfast experience at Toasted Yolk this morning. ) The food was fabulous as always, but we also happened to be eating during happy hour. The waiter delivered great service, the food came out fast, fresh, and fantastic, and drinks were so good. We stopped an employee walking by and asked for the happy hour drink menu again. He not only obliged quickly with a smile, but he enthusiastically answered questions we had about some of the drinks. We didn’t know he was the bartender, but that explained his explicit knowledge of the drinks. But his joy and enthusiasm describing the drinks was not just a bartender answering questions. He was excited about his drinks and the drinks we ordered were amazing. We reflected on our terrible breakfast experience and this was such a totally wonderful dining experience we decided we should talk to the manager and give kudos to everyone who helped us. It turns out the manager was not in that night. That just speaks volumes to how great that manager must be to have a staff so customer focused and striving for such perfection because they care, and not because the manager is watching. Thank you, Thaicoon, for taking one of our favorite restaurants from fantastic to awesome!

I have been here many times over the past few years. I will say that their quality of food remains the same what has changed is their quantity of food, unfortunately it has seem to been reduced over the years. That is nothing against them it's a tough market in food with inflation and meat cost rising. With that said though their service remains top notch. Food - remains very consistent other than quantity it's still a great spot for Thai food. I recommend their basil fried rice or pineapple fried rice or any of their curry. For appetizers I thoroughly enjoy their millionaire mussels. 3/5 food. Service - remains great, tables are cleared quickly, orders are entered promptly and accurately, water glass remains full even if I have another beverage there. 4/5 service Atmosphere - clean, welcoming. Bathrooms are very clean, floors cleaned, tables cleaned, walls, curtains, and ceiling vents cleaned. If a game is going on because there is a bar it can get sometimes loud and rowdy. 4/5 ambience.

I always appreciate being able to have Gluten free Thai food here, the owner is also so friendly and staff recognizes us each time we come, I think the place deserves better ratings than 4.2! 😊 I’m a happy customer, love the Curries all GF, fried rice is GF, noodles are GF & Thai Larb is GF! Gluten Free food is labeled all over the menus & more we haven’t yet tried! We definitely are regulars here now. 🫶 PS: I am not Celiac but I am Gluten Intolerant so I have to be so careful!
