Had my first visit to Cafe Taj Indo Pak Restaurant in Houston and it was a great experience! They have a nice variety of vegetarian options, which I really appreciated. The Saahi paneer with butter naan was absolutely awesome—rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The samosas were also really tasty and made for a great start. The daal fry was just okay compared to the other dishes, but everything else more than made up for it. Special shoutout to Mr. Ali for the excellent service—he was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had a great dining experience. I’ll definitely be coming back again!

Fantastic experience here! Very welcoming staff and delicious food. We enjoyed the Goat Biryani, Chicken Karahi, Mango Lassi, and two Chai. We will love to come back!

Me & my husband asked for butter chicken and lamb chops to go. We regret not checking the food before leaving. This was our first time there. Honestly would not be coming back their butter chicken is not buttery at all they just gave me a bunch of oil with chicken I don’t know if they got my order wrong or what. And the lamb chops were good just not prepared like in the picture with jalapeños A lot of false advertising going on and the Naan was hard… Make sure you check your food before taking to go.

Aneel is very customer friendly. Foods are great and good in amount. We picked up Goat yakhni pulao, jeera rice, goat kadai, palak paneer , butter naan and chicken samosa. He complimented us with mango lassi as well. I liked their service a lot . We are going over and again there now. Schedule of the restaurant is very fascinating , we can crave and order right away.

The hospitality from Aneel was refreshing to see that EXCEPTIONAL Customer service still exists. He helped us with the menu and selections based on spice tolerance and just overall food preference. We will be back for sure. We seen they have hookah available outside as well. It was quiet and peaceful while we waited for the food. I don't know why they don't have more customers but after all that and the food looking And tasting phenomenal everyone should give this place a try!
