Taqueria el pillo

Food trucks are always more $$ than regular restaurants. The customer service is a top notch. The young lady was very friendly and nice. But the older lady was kinda annoyed, maybe it was a late night. Order Birria combo, the noodle soup was too salty for me. They need to improve the taste. The taco was great. Overall, price abit too high for a food truck quality, food needs some improvement. Note: If you are tired, just go home or find someone to replace you for that day.

We ordered beef torta and an order of 1/2 beef and chicken tacos. Both meats tasted heavily over salted and even as I type this review I can taste the salt. Leaving a 2 star as the salsa was good and the toppings were well presented. Also the Agua de melón tasted good not great could be better. Total came out to $35 with tip. Probably won’t go back.

One of the best birria tacos we’ve ever had! But 4 star only for food because the quesadilla’s very salty! But definitely will be back for the quesabirria!

This is a great little place that is situated in a gravel parking lot with two other permanent food stands. It's well lit at night and it's clean. The beef street tacos were so well seasoned and delicious. The spicy Verde sauce was perfect. I will be back for more when I'm nearby. Great late night snack or night cap near hotels by Katy Mills.
