Update: still good! Thank you. Let me start by saying—I’ve always enjoyed Taco Bell, but ever since they moved to self-serve kiosks and recordings, it just hasn’t felt the same. That’s what led me to try Taco Casa, and I’m really glad I did! The prices are about the same, but the quality is definitely better. The taco salad is super tasty, and the tacos are great—plenty of cheese and everything tastes fresh and well-made. The drive-thru can take a little time, but honestly, the food makes up for the wait. Also, the employees here are kind, professional, and really add to the positive experience.

The restaurant needs attention. The ac vents are rusting and dripping condensation. There are two holes in the ceiling above the ordering counter dripping water on the employees and floor. We drove over an hour to try this after seeing it in TT and people claiming it was the old Taco Bell recipes/style. We ordered Taco salad Bean burrito Beans and cheese Tostada Taco Chilada All was fresh and delicious and served to us quickly. They are very generous with the meat and cheese filling and topping. Great quality food that didn’t upset our stomachs. The shell on the taco and the tostada are elite - homemade like. The tostada had a thick layer of delicious beans, lettuce and tons of cheese topping. The ground beef in the taco was seasoned and fresh crumbled meat not a meat sauce mystery like other places. The bean burrito was full of filling and the tortilla was so soft and tender, an amazing tortilla. I did not care for the chilada - it just wasn’t my type food but was made fresh and full of ingredients. They only have one flavor hot sauce but it’s very good. The condiment/napkin area was stocked with everything you need. I got a sweet tea which was fresh brewed tea, sweetened just right. I appreciated so much it was fresh. The cups are generous sizes too. They need to open more locations around Houston I feel.

I stop by for lunch, nice atmosphere, friendly ,helpful with explaining the menu. And offered a courtesy drink while I wait. So if you're in the neighborhood, stop by and grab a bite... you want be disappointed. Oh and I ordered nachos and a meat burrito the tortilla was very soft (fresh)...very tasty...and it was enough nachos for 2...🤭😊

Came here for the first time after hearing about it being a "Taco place from days gone by." Staff was friendly and got our food out quick. Oddly no was was around for it being dinner time. I had a couple tacos and beans. Tacos had a good, nastalgic taste. Beans, pretty mid as the kids say. Have to check out again one day.

Absolutely love the place. Much better experience than Taco Bell, and definitely a step above in quality. Anyone who talks bad about this place must be a competitor! It’s awesome! Unfortunately, they’ve been closed for about a week with no notification on the voicemail. I don’t get it. The note on the door says closed until further notice, but how would we be notified? Please keep us informed! I’m a fan for sure.
