Food was good. The Tito’s Strawberry Lemonade was a good drink for me ✨Service was stellar, my server was very attentive! Did have to send my food back to be fixed by the kitchen but it was fixed and came back way better! The artists that performed Friday night were great. Will be back. Love the location and that it’s black/woman owned.

First time being at Sugar’s. I must say it was really enjoyable, it was cozy and very entertaining experience. The Food was great, the staff was very nice and tentative. Not to pricey. Hands free menu that you use by QR code on your on personal phone. If your Claustrophobic don’t attend it’s a up close and personal entertainment. Well worth the admission. Me and my wifey will be attending again in the near future..

Kennedys Kids

I wanted to enjoy this place; however, it randomly was such a negative experience! It has a nice vibe, and there was a band playing. However, the band composed of two kids. Literally, one was probably 12. They were .... Alright. I sat myself and no one came to my table to get my drink order. 15 minutes passed and I had to find someone to ask to come to my table to get the order. 20 minutes pass, and someone finally came and asked for the order. 15 more minutes pass and the waiter comes and tell us that we have another 15 minutes to wait because of how many people are present. NOTE!! There were maybe 7 tables and most had their food already. I assumed the waiter just forgot to out the order in... Directly after the waitress at the next table tells them their ticket was misplaced. How was one of three tickets misplaced? Smh After an hour from beginning to end, it was necessary to get a manager. He accepted the fault immediately and brought out our food immediately. That said, the food was decent. Three plates: the Crawfish Etoufee was bland and spicy. The fried fish plate was good. The burger with shrimp was mostly great. The burger tasted like a premade Patty with a lot of seasoning salt. The shrimp was big, plentiful, and tasty, as was the sauce. The bread toasted. It was just a disappointing experience with a decent plate. Had the service and wait not been long coupled with that flagrant untruth of an excuse, it could have been better. Please like, if this was helpful.

I ordered one Friday to support black business week. I never heard of either before. I was pleasantly surprised. On July 18th I ordered the seafood gumbo and the garlic parmesan chicken wings. I have a sensitive stomach and found my choice not too spicy for me. Fast forward August. My son couldn't decide on a place to order his birthday dinner. So I mentioned Sugar's. When he looked at the menu he decided against it because of my palate. It didn't take long to convince him and his dad. We ordered online , he picked it up and every one was happy ! The food didn't make it to be left overs the next morning. Nor a photo. When the pandemic isolation is over, somebody promised a date night to hear the entertainment.
