Star Pizza

It was our first time here and it was a pleasant experience. We ordered one deep dish pizza, and 2thin crust. It was surprisingly really good. First time having deep dish so I really can't give a solid opinion on how good it was. Go for the most part , it was pretty good especially the thin crust. I would definitely go again.The prices were reasonable,and service was good.

This is my second visit and I can't believe this is my first review. I've been here once before and loved it. It was a Saturday night and it was crowded so we got to eat on the second floor...which I didn't realize they had. The menu is quite extensive so there was something for everyone. Even keto pizzas, my wife got one, the cauli-keto starburst pie, it was very tasty, lots of veggies and meats on a cauliflower crust. I got the 8 inch New York style pie wit' lots of meats and veggies and fresh jalapenos. We shared a pint of Twisted X beer. I purchased a t shirt.....this may help me remember to come back more often. Great food and service and reasonable prices. 6 adults and 2 toddlers enjoyed some amazing pie and pasta and a few libations. My wife and I shared a pint draft of St. Arnold's Watermelon Cider....never tried this before and it was really good. My wife had the pasta salad and a side of fried baby potatoes. I enjoyed the meat lasagna with marinara sauce. We ordered a baked goat cheese appetizer with french bread for the table, it was enjoyed by all. The service by Norma was over the top. I wore my Star Pizza t shirt and they kept trying to put me to work....just sayin'....we'll be back for more of these goodies.

Man, this pizza was wicked. In a good way. If you are a cheese lover— this is for you. It was almost hard to eat because of how much cheese there was but once I popped it back in the air fryer later in the night, it was better. maybe cause the cheese had settled a bit. I believe we ordered the chefs special.. it’s the last pizza on the list. I’d recommend this place for all the deep dish, cheese lovers. 😊

I’ve been visiting Star Pizza on Norfolk for years, and it’s hands down the best representation of Chicago-style pizza in the Houston area. I grew up in Cicero, Illinois, so Chicago pizza is more than food to me—it’s comfort and nostalgia. Every time I’m craving something that reminds me of home, Star Pizza is where I go. The Ben’s deep dish pizza is a must. Thick, hearty, and packed with flavor—exactly how it should be. The staff is always great. The kitchen manager regularly comes out to greet guests, which really shows how much they care. We usually get Gaven as our waiter, and he always makes the experience pleasant and easy. If you’re from Chicago or just want the real deal, this place delivers every time.

Delicious pizza! We had the New York style pepperoni pizza and added mushrooms 🤤 they are not shy with the topping or cheeeeese! Loved the nostalgic atmosphere you can even make your mark on the walls here! Excellent service, clean and well lit area, security to watch the parking lot and a nice patio.
