I had to come on here and do a shoutout to probably the best customer service I have experienced in very very long time. Amarie who was the manager on duty came through!!! I ordered business cards for my nonprofit and I needed them for an event on Monday. I ordered them on Friday and the order stated they would be ready Saturday, but I wasn’t going to go pick up until Sunday to give them extra time if needed. I went to pick up the cards Sunday and the printing area could not find them. The supervisor in that area told me they were not ready and when I asked if he could give me a time or date the would be ready he said I don’t know were backed up and he didn’t know when they could have them ready. He also said the called me yesterday but I opened my call log on my phone and had not one missed call from them. First I will start this supervisor needs to go through a retraining on customer service or replace him immediately! I would never want to do that but not every person is meant to be a supervisor or manager especially when they have 0 people skills. Because how he handled it was just horrible customer service. I can’t imagine how it is to work under him. I have managed several big box chains working as Operations, Store and District manager and I’ve had to go into trouble stores and replace supervisors like this man. He didn’t try to help me, solve the problem NOTHING, he was ok with just cancelling my order. Absolutely ridiculous. I saw I was going to get nowhere with him so I was just going to leave. I was super upset and decided to speak with the manager. That’s when God blessed me and here came out Amarie. She listened, she empathised and she took action. All the things a good manager does. She went over to the printing section spoke with them and they got started on my order. She offered to deliver them to me since I drove an hour to pick up the cards. I was not going to have her do that, so I just stayed around that side of town and she called me when they were done. She really went above and beyond and because of her I will keep using staples. Thank you Amarie🤍

I am writing to express my concern regarding the customer service I experienced at your Houston location at 1919 Taylor St on the morning of November 6, 2025, between 8:00 and 8:30 AM. I frequently visit this store to complete Amazon returns, and unfortunately, I’ve consistently encountered poor service from one of the staff members working in the mornings. On this particular visit, I waited 3–5 minutes at the counter without being acknowledged while the employee conversed with a colleague about changing a password. I was then asked to step away from the counter and wait by the Amazon Drop-Off sign (literally 3 feet from the counter), where I waited another few minutes before being called BACK to the counter and assisted. After completing my return, the employee insisted I walk around to the exit door before handing me my receipt, which felt unnecessarily inconvenient. I told her to hand me my receipt right here at the counter I'm currently being serviced at like everyone else does. I did not ask for her name, as I was unsure I would receive an honest response, but I do have a photo of her if needed. This experience, along with previous ones, has made me feel unwelcome and undervalued as a customer. The overall attitude of the morning staff seems tense and lacking in basic customer service skills.

Don’t go to this location!!!! Customer service is horrible. I ordered some printings on Dec 5th and I needed it within the 2 weeks I ordered it. I got an email saying it was going to be ready on Dec 9th and then got another email saying was going to be ready until the 15th and then another email until January 4th, 2026. I went to the store to asked about it no one could give me an answer. I got an email saying it was ready to be picked up on January 7th I went to pick it up and it was wrong. The whole order was wrong. I didn’t needed it anymore since Office Depot saved me but I wanted to pick it up because I paid for it. Now they told me I have to wait another 2 weeks for them to get it ready. Which is ridiculous!! Bad experience, bad customer service not going there or any staples ever again.

I recently visited this Staples location and was extremely impressed by the professionalism and leadership of the store manager, Amarie. She demonstrated excellent product knowledge, efficient problem-solving skills, and provided assistance in a way that was both courteous and attentive. The environment felt organized, welcoming, and well-managed. Their commitment to customer service is truly commendable. Highly recommended. The manager here is outstanding. Friendly, knowledgeable, and truly cares about customer experience. I’ll definitely be returning because of the great service.

Bree took the time to explain my options, made sure everything was done correctly, and provided excellent customer service from start to finish.
