I was a first time visitor to Houston on a business trip this past month and was fortunate enough to stumble upon this local neighborhood gem! Their pasta and pizza were delicious and nice portions for the price. The ambiance matches the vibe of the dishes and drinks they serve. The staff and owners are super nice greeted me like family and I really felt that southern hospitality coming from New York City. I’d definitely stop by again!

I came to Spaghetti Western at Shepherd a few times. I like the pasta dish. Flavorful. I usually come with my friends whenever they decided to meet up. Parking is somewhat challenging.

First timer and it’s a cute spot! The food could use some work, maybe seasonings and cooking time but overall such a good experience. We had Greg as our server and he was the best. Very attentive and didn’t seem to be bothered with our questions/requests. We started off with some drank which for beer prices, really good and didn’t taste flat like most people’s I get draft from. The appetizers we chose were the potato skins and wings. The potato skins were super fresh when we got them however I’m more of a less is better type of gal when it comes to these sides, still good but didn’t care for the chicken or sour cream. My boyfriend did however enjoy the chicken. The wings were also really fresh and the breading was so good. We did ask for hot sauce on the side and they warmed it up which made the flavor taste good x2. My boyfriend and I shared the Shrimp & Crawfish Alfredo Pasta and a 10” inch pizza. We both agreed the shrimp didn’t taste like it had seasoning and was kind of bland but was fresh and the pasta was cooked to perfection. The pizza i did think it could’ve been cooked a little longer, I don’t care for soft breading on my pizza, not saying I want it burnt but a little crunch never hurt anyone. I will give them this, the sauce was really good that didn’t lack any flavor. The cheese was super cheesy, reminded me of the goofy movie pizza. Overall this place has potential and the staff they have truly stands out and makes you want to come back. Wouldn’t mind trying different food the next time because I’m sure each dish has its own speciality. We paid $80 in total for everything with tip.

Half portion doesn't mean half price!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We went there just the previous Sunday for lunch. It was about 2pm and it wasn't busy there. As i usually can't finish a full portion of a meal, so i asked the waitress if i could order a kid's menu, she said and suggested i could actually order a half portion of a complete meal BUT WITHOUT telling me upfront the price of a half portion. I just assumed the price would be just half of a full price of that dish. I ordered a half portion of Pomodora Pasta (one full dish costs 16 USD), so I thought I just needed to pay 8 USD for a half portion. But then when we asked for the bill, my half portion of that dish turned out to be 13 USD. When we asked her how the price was determined, she said that's the way it was. When collecting our payment, she sent another waitress to deal with us, and I asked this other waitress if adults could order kid's menu there, she didn't answer "yes" or "no" but just said basically their boss doesn't encourage and want that. So we paid speechless and left without tipping since we felt like being cheated. To us, doing business with honesty is the most important criteria for our consideration for patronage of restaurants. We don't mind paying a bit more if we had been told about the price upfront. It is really unwise for business to trade off their integrity just for making a few more bucks. At the end, you will lose customers in the long run.. We would never come back again and would not recommend this restaurant to others. Very disappointed.
