We came here twice two days in a row because we enjoyed it so much! I am from the Philippines but I live in an area now that has zero Filipino food options. I’m in Houston for work and really craving Filipino food. I got the bbq sampler platter with pork bbq, chicken bbq skewer and lechon. They all tasted great and the meat quality/flavor was perfect. I only wished there was a bit more lechon. The atchara is a non traditional type made with red cabbage but it complemented the dish nicely. The second time we got Bangus Silog and it was good but the bangus was a bit small/wasn’t marinated. Overall it scratched the itch but $16 was a bit steep on what you get for the dish. I would’ve liked some tomato with this dish instead of atchara. The lumpia is good and I love the sauce that comes with it. I’m really glad this is here at Post! It does feel like Filipino food is starting to get more recognized. It would be nice to see pancit on the menu! A side dish like this would go really well with the ulam.

The tofu was some of the best tofu I have ever had. It was super thin and crispy. It was served with a orangish sauce that was very acidic. Maybe a little too acidic with the pickled veggies.

The wait time was about 25 minutes, which would’ve been fine if the food had been good—but unfortunately, the lumpia came out raw. The filling was still pink and undercooked, which made it really disappointing after waiting so long. The staff was polite, but the food quality and preparation need serious improvement.

What a treat to find a Filipino restaurant that offers a vegan option. The bbq tofu skin skewers were out of this world. I'm definitely looking forward to visiting again soon.

The lechon is not authentic. It tastes like carnitas. They deep fry it versus roasting it like they do in the Philippines. The lumpia is alright. Paid $40, not worth it. I've been to House of Lechon & Rico's lechon in Cebu Philippines. Soy Pinoy is whitewashed.
