The absolute definition of Southern hospitality. We drove 45 minutes from Rosenberg last night to try this place after seeing it on a Facebook reel. So we loaded up and made the trip. I knew it was later in the evening and the post had warned they might be out of items close to closing, but we still wanted to give it a try. After ordering and waiting a bit, we found out they were out of most of the side dishes we had our hearts set on. Ms. Tracy handled the situation with so much grace and kindness. We decided to get a refund and come back today so we could try everything we originally came for. I’m so glad we did. It was absolutely worth the wait. The food was everything we expected and more. We’ll definitely be back!

Mrs. Tracy has The Best customer service and The Best Fresh food. My husband and I ordered the oxtails with rice, green beans and sweet potatoes. Yes my granny had to be cooking in her kitchen for them sweet potatoes. This place will bless your spirit and your stomach. Pull up and enjoy some great season food made with love. Also grab you a kool aid and that lemonade in the bottle to hold everything down. You will thank me for this one.

Had to see what the hype about, I decided to give it a try. Since the actual restaurant is currently closed for renovations, they’re operating out of a food truck. When I pulled up and saw no one there, I was a bit skeptical. Especially after reading that the lines are usually long with a ridiculous wait time. Still, I didn’t let that stop me. I ordered an oxtail plate with macaroni and cheese and greens. For my second plate, I got the Cajun turkey wing with garlic mashed potatoes and gravy, along with sweet potatoes. Both meats were well-seasoned. The oxtails could have been more tender, but the portion size was decent for the price. The turkey wing was good and flavorful. Both plates came with rice. The gravy had a decent taste, but the rice itself was undercooked. The mac and cheese was bland, and the sweet potatoes were just okay. However, the garlic mashed potatoes were 🔥! Definitely the standout side. The greens had a bitter, canned taste to me, so I didn’t care for those. For dessert, we tried the red velvet cake, which was good and definitely tasted homemade. Overall, for the Northside, the food was good. Better than "This Is It" off FM 1960. I’d be willing to try Annie B’s again once the renovations are complete. I just hope the prices doesn't go any higher. Spent over $70, kind of expensive for two soulfood plates and a slice of cake.

The first time I came to Annie B's the food was awesome. But today I went back and it wasn't so awesome. The fried pork chop wasn't fried all the way, I had to come home and put in the air fryer and put seasoning on it. No flavor for the soul. The green beans were steamed or whatever they did. The Broc Rice was fairly decent. To top it off I was the first customer of the day. I asked for smothered pork chop but they said the gravy wasn't ready but could give gravy from the oxtails, ummm No. I dont mine paying the high prices if I'm going to get quality food. The first Pic is the same pork chop I came home and put in the airfryer and the second is what they half fried. I commend what yall were going for but today wasn't it. I hope everyone else that goes today get better than what I got. But I will be back, again. Be blessed.

Not sure what time to go as both my visits were disappointing due to lack of menu options. A more detailed menu is necessary to know the options available for the day. Large portions, good to share with another. Not sure what type of fish, was told it was catfish, but I suspect otherwise after tasting. Food isn't consistent, one day something may be great the next may be under seasoned or over cooked from sitting on the steam table. Fried food seems to be cooked to order, the rest I'm not sure. Plenty of seating and gospel music played. Not a terrible choice by far just inconsistent. Maybe call and see what items they have before going so you don't get your hopes up for something they don't serve daily. Chocolate cake is delicious 👍🏾 no fountain drink machine but offers bottled beverages and kool-aid. I enjoyed my food for the most part, the black eye peas, cabbage and beef tips are really flavorful.
