I’ve already made a 5 star review for this place maybe a year ago, but I needed to make another one. THE. BEST. FOOD. EVER. I will always be loyal to this place, my new favorite is the falafel wrap, and I’m a meat lover and I have never liked falafel. The people who own and work here are also the kindest and very honest people ever. Please consider coming to this place, portions are pretty big, and food is too good to pass up. You can’t go wrong by trying this place.

Absolutely loved this gyro food truck. The food is incredibly fresh and flavorful, and you can really tell everything is made with care. The gyros were delicious, perfectly seasoned, and not heavy at all. What really stood out for me was how kid friendly and accommodating they were. The staff was patient, happy to make adjustments, and genuinely kind to families. It is such a relief to find a place where adults can enjoy amazing food while kids are just as welcome. Great food, great service, and a welcoming vibe. We will definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for fresh, satisfying food that the whole family can enjoy.

I ordered three #1 lamb/beef gyro meal. I asked the owner what was a meal, to which he explained anything on the menu is a meal, and it comes with a drink. So after telling him the order he asked what I wanted to drink, so I asked if he had Coke. He said he was out, and only had Sprite and water. I said that's fine and ordered 3 waters. He disclosed that the water was room temp, and not cooled, to which I said that is okay. When my order was called, he handed two chilled water bottles, and I asked him for a third (3 meals). He claimed he ran out, so I let it go and sat down to eat. A few minutes later another person is receiving their order, and the owner hands him a coke can. Then another person gets their order and he received a water bottle. This confirmed the suspicion after the other guy got a coke that the owner simply lied and didn't want to give me a water bottle. I told one of my party members to ask for a coke and the owner then handed him a coke. All the while initially he had stated no coke, and when being asked later, no more water. Dishonesty like this is ridiculous and he should be ashamed of running a food truck stand. Now let me review the actual gyros. Wack. Drive 15 minutes to any desi store, buy some yogurt, precut gyro meat, and a naan and you have a better gyro there. Honestly the gyro was very mediocre, with little to no balance. It was just full of meat and sauce. There was two little pieces of lettuce. Overall it was okay but the price heavily weighs down the recommendation ($15). The fries were decent. Lastly, while we were waiting for our food another person complained to the owner that the food was not good and not served as described. Instead of just accepting the criticism and complaint, the owner instead was adamant that he makes good tasting food, and that "I can't control what your taste buds like". Mind boggling customer service, all over a $15 meal. When the customer was told to "eat it", him and his partner sat back down. Astonishingly, the owner came outside of the food truck to talk to the directly after about 10 minutes, and reiterated that he had been here for 45 years and knew how to make good food. I could see the customer visibly getting upset at his insistence. You can guarantee that party nor myself will ever give Sizzling Gyro l business again. Dishonesty, belligerence, and mediocre food.

Today I had the pleasure of enjoying beef nihari from Sizzling Gyro (Food Truck), and it was absolutely outstanding. Having tried nihari at numerous restaurants across Sugar Land, this dish truly stood apart for its authentic and traditional flavor. The gravy was exceptionally rich, perfectly textured, and deeply aromatic. The beef was cooked exactly as it should be for nihari tender, well-braised, and full of flavor. Every bite was hearty, comforting, and immensely satisfying. I would highly recommend that you experience this for yourself and for your family. Thank you Iftikhar

Extremely tasty. I can’t figure what seasoning they use on the chicken and lamb but I must say this tops majority of the lamb and chicken over rice spots in Houston. On top of everything this is family owned and the owner is very kind and gives attention to each customer.
