Excellent spot for a reasonable priced meal to fill you up for a while! Many different meat options, including lamb; with different kinds of rice and veggies as well. Comfortable seating and good service, they are very quick to bring you a jug of water and bread to snack on. I recommend this place quite often because you really can’t beat the experience if you’re looking for quality Indian food in the Woodlands.

I cook a good bit of Indian food at home, and appreciate Indian buffets. The “good”: cute place, beautiful spread, yummy dishes. The “could have been better”…I like my Indian food spiced, hot and bold, Sitar’s cooking maybe geared to the sissy American palette, the dominant spices of the Punjabi, Mughali, Hyderabad, Goan, Cochin/Kerla regions I’ve come to love and expect are toned down, possibly to meet the tasted of the locals. Still excellent food, I enjoyed my meal very much, swadish hei!

This place has wonderful, authentic Indian cuisine. We have been coming here for years, so I may be redundant in my praise of this wonderful establishment. They pack it in for lunch, so come early, dinner is a little quieter so more buffet, right? Great staff and reasonable prices make Sitar a "no brainer" for delicious food, great atmosphere and value. You will walk away content and happy :-)

I’ve been going to Sitar Cuisine of India for over five years, and it’s consistently been one of the best casual dining experiences around. The restaurant is always clean, well-organized, and run with professionalism. The service is friendly and efficient every time. I can’t speak to how authentic the food is, but I can tell you it’s always fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. I usually lean vegetarian, but their tandoori chicken and butter chicken are just too good to skip. I also love their samosas, kheema matar, and chickpea masala—absolutely packed with flavor. And the fresh naan they bring to the table is the perfect complement to every meal. I always finish off with a scoop of their mango ice cream—YUM. Parking can be a bit tight during weekday lunch hours, especially if you’re coming for a business lunch, but evenings and weekends are usually fine. Highly recommend this place if you enjoy great food and consistently great service!

The place is an absolute JOKE. The WORST Indian food I ever had in my life. None of the dishes in the buffet were good enough to be eaten again after one bite. Just look at the Biryani and you will know what to expect. It was just rice with some jeera. (No taste at all) If you are an Indian or have had Indian food ever, you will hate the food here. The manager had no clue what masala soda, jaljeera or nimbu pani was. The only thad was good of all the things was mango ice cream (that also was not that good enough)
