Based on other people's review we decided to go to this place during lunch. The restaurant is clean and the server is friendly. We order their famous appetizer, stir fry noodles, fry pork ribs, Hainan chicken and their herbal rib soup. I must say I love the soup the best. Husband liked the appetizer. The chicken is good but the noodle is too blend and the fry pork rib is too dry. I probably will only order soup as take out in the future.

I ordered 5 different dishes and none of them were great or good, but maybe 1 of the was okay. The shrimp was mushy, over cooked, no texture and lacks flavor. The chicken had a weird texture and color, even the aftertaste wasn't anything that I want to savor on. The beef was tough, beware of you wear prosthetic teeth. We forced down what we could because it was late at night, but over 75% of it definitely made it to the garbage, between 3 adult size stomachs. This is by far the worst food I've tasted from a restaurant thus far, and I been to a fair amount of restaurants. Grubhub tip first setup sucks, as well, as a good tip was provide for a pick up order, so the place could have made sure my food was worthy of being consumed and not thrown out. There should be a tip later option with a timer connected to it just incase the service was not worthy or more worthy of the planned tip.

Every visit to Singapore Cafe is always a delight. We get amazingly delicious food and wonderful service. They have added many exciting and delicious meals to their menu. They offer lunch specials from 11am - 2:30pm. If you can’t dine in, you can also call for pick up. I love that I now get a bill brought to my table. Very professional! Most of all, they now also accept AMEX & Discover cards in addition to the Visa & MasterCard. My family & I have enjoyed our visit here. And we’ll be back for more!

Finally after 2 years missing The Best Hainamese Chicken Rice and Kangkung Blacam. We basically drove from Dallas to Houston to eat here. Our forever favorite as mentioned previously are Hainamese Chicken Rice which taste identical with the one from Singapore even the chilly sauce taste sooo good. Kangkung Blacam taste the best from all Indonesian Restaurants I tried. My wife love the Kwetiaw Siram and Curry Puff (their trademarks snacks as the best curry puff ever). Today we also tried the Chicken Satay and Roti Canai which became our favorite too. The Chicken Satay meats was so tender and tasty. Will definitely drive back here whenever My craving attack me again.

Love the friendly staff and quick service. Everything we ordered was delicious. Be warned that the hofun dishes are HUGE, easily enough for 2-3 people. I will definitely keep coming back, there were way too many dishes I still need to try.
