I called them and they swear it's not mold. I didn't ask for my money back. It was 730am and they were cold. You decide cause these are in the trash. I'm going to the other Shipleys on Fry Rd from now on.

The kolaches are so good especially the jalapeño cheese sausage. They are fresh and addictive. Yummy fresh donuts I especially enjoyed the lemon filling.

Great place for donuts and kolaches. Coffee is okay. Service is the best and the selection of donut types is classic Houston. Cake donut that is not covered in sugar is available. And their Hot Donut sign is a much better donut than KK. They have a drive thru, but take the time to visit. Have fun.

I was really excited to try this donut shop, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. The donuts were tiny—way smaller than I anticipated—and for the price, I felt like I wasn’t getting much for my money. The taste was just okay, not anything special that would make me want to come back. They were overly sugary without much flavor beyond that. The novelty of the size wore off quickly, and I left feeling unsatisfied. If you’re looking for a solid donut experience, this place may not be the best choice.

Highway RIP-off! I'm still not understanding why I was charged $4.44 for some old, stale coffee and donut holes from this morning. The guy said, there is this much left and charged me full price. That was even after telling me there was not anymore coffee left. Wth... I guess. It is safe to say I will not be visiting this Shipley Donut again! I'll stick to the one off the Grand Pkwy.
