If your looking for damn good food homemade from the ❤️. This is the place for you to enjoy cooking that explodes your taste buds. We are in town from Dallas for The Weekend concert and found them online. The owners were the nicest people you can meet. When you see them literally cooking your order in a cast iron skillet...damn..we will be back.

OMG…this is by far the best seafood around! I was on a business trip with a co-worker from DFW. I always want to get seafood while I am near the coast so I searched “seafood near me” and opted for this place. We pulled up the location and almost left because it’s in a gas station.. I decided to give it a shot and HOLY CRAP!! I haven’t had seafood that good in a long time. Fresh ingredients and the Husband and wife team are the sweetest people ever. Definitely a diamond in the ruff dining destination. You get so much food for your money and so much seafood! Im tired of paying high prices and getting very little seafood in what I ordered. This place will be a gold mine destination someday in a beautiful building.. but I almost don’t want them to move out of the gas station, I believe it adds character and affordable consumption.

The only thing better than the delicious food, was the wonderful people cooking and serving it. Everyone was so nice. They made my day, and some really good gumbo. Highly recommend this place!

Food was good and cooked fresh. I needed a little bit more salt on mine but overall it was flavorful with a kick. The young lady in the front had a great personality and lots of energy, she is great and welcoming. Kudos to her. The location is in a gas station on the corner of Almeda and Southmore. I got the hot topic with blackened fish and shrimp. Check them out of you can.

Let me tell you something…..if you want stick to ya ribs, stomach filling out of this world food and service, run don’t walk to Bobobs!!!! Found out it was literally down the street and took a chance on the 5-Star ratings for the food. I’m EXTREMELY glad I did. The rumors are true…come hungry as the owners do provide samples of all they have on the stove. We missed out on the oxtails (served on Sat after 3p only) but got chicken & broccoli with a cornbread base; red beans and rice; goulash with sausage and corn; grits & The Overload samples. I immediately fell for the overload which comes with white rice. My roommate loved the broccoli and chicken with cornbread. We decided on a plate of the Overload which is a cream sauce that includes sausage, shrimp and chicken. It’s delicious on its own but the grits had me in a chokehold so skipped the rice and went with the grits instead. We split one plate for $20 (no tax). Where you do that at?!?! The pic is what’s left from two grown people having two helpings each. I’m breathing short, labored breaths as I type this…I’m so stuffed. Thank you to the Yelpers who added to the chorus of Houstonians that discovered this unassuming food counter in the back of a Valero gas station on Almeda and Southmore. Definitely will be back for Round 2!!!!
