CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE MORE! We hired them to cater my South Asian wedding sangeet and reception in San Antonio, and boy did they deliver. The food was absolutely AMAZING, it was the thing we got the most compliments on. Every single dish was so tasty, we had people saying they went to get food multiple times, and we barely had any leftovers even though we ordered extra food! When I was greeting people at the wedding, I heard so many compliments about the food, people could not stop praising the taste! The owner was extremely kind and knowledgeable, professional, and timely. He was very accomodating and helped us create a great menu for both days, and gave helpful suggestions too! We had to go for multiple tastings because certain family members were not available certain days and he was very kind about that. I cannot recommend this place more for catering for your South Asian Wedding!

I had a very disappointing experience at Shahi Darbar. From the moment I walked in, the staff did not seem happy to see a customer. There was no greeting, no smile, and the overall attitude felt unwelcoming. It honestly seemed like they were annoyed that someone came in. Unfortunately, the food was just as disappointing as the service. The food was not tasty at all and definitely not worth the money. Between the poor customer service and the food, the experience was not enjoyable. I’m sorry to say this, but I would not recommend this place. Don’t waste your money.

Placed a few orders ahead of time and the order is always ready exactly on time. They always put a lot of food which is amazing because it's tastes great. For the raita lovers, they give you a large cup to enjoy with your overflowing biryani. Quantity and quality this place is top notch and they text you special offers and deals so I'm always coming back for more.

We are very hungry so we decided to search near by Restaurant from Sugarland First Colony Mall . Founded Shahi Darbar, We Started with Chicken Behari with Tandoori Roti and Rumali Roti and later we ordered Chicken Biryani. Behari was ok but Rumali roti was made with wheat and tandoori roti made with maida, I don’t know how the chef made it, any way we compromised and started , but the biryani was horrible, the Bowl was Fully with chicken and masala only less rice, they gave us 6 Big chicken pieces in Regular Pack biryani I was shocked 😳. I will never be back.

I was a regular customer of Shahi Darbar until few days back when I ordered food through Uber. Mutton curry ($19) had only bones (see pictures). When I called the lady said she will replace the dish with 50% of the cost and asked me to come over. Really !!!!!! Out of 7 small pieces 5 were bones nothing else and she said I will discount it. Come on……
