Saigon USA Pho & Grill

Update: Tried their bun bo hue noodle soup today, and it was surprisingly good. Most typical Vietnamese pho restaurants that do not specialize in this dish will make it just okay, but not special. Here, the broth is flavorful, with lots of crab and shrimp flavor along with the bone broth. It doesn't come with the pork blood cake that other specialized restaurants provide, which I like and enjoy with this dish. The vegetable garnishes also lack the banana blossom and Vietnamese coriander (rau ram). I would definitely have this dish again. ————————————— We went there again today and had the combo Pho lunch special, and it was excellent once more. The broth was very fragrant and savory. The fried spring roll that comes with the lunch special had a wonderful crispiness with delicious meat filling.

I wanted to share a concern about the food quality at this location. I visited last night around 7 PM and ordered the pho with brisket. Unfortunately, the meat had an unpleasant smell, and the overall taste was off. I wasn’t able to finish it, and by today I developed severe diarrhea along with stomach and abdominal pain. I’m worried that the brisket may have been spoiled, and serving food in that condition can seriously impact customers’ health. The servers were kind, and we’ve liked coming here because it’s close to home, but this experience was very concerning. I hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously and ensures that food safety and freshness are prioritized moving forward.

Came here on a Friday night about an hour before they were closing. There were a handful of families wrapping up their meals. There was one server running around attending to these families with settling of checks, providing take-away boxes. We felt a bit neglected as it took some time to get waters out, napkins etc. I felt really bad for the server, and we were patient with her. We ordered a bunch of items from pho, noodle bowl, kids’ chicken fried rice and spicy chicken noodles. Food was good as were the portions. The kids menu seems to be in large portions as well. The place has lots of parking outside. Will return to try other items!

Husband and I tried here for the first time and was really pleasantly surprised! I had the vermicelli bowl and the shrimp was incredible and my husband loved his Short ribs. Definitely will be heading back for a laid back and delicious dinner!

I went there with my friend yesterday after work and the two young lady greeted me with a smile respect , they was so kind and the food I ordered with my friend is amazing taste. The atmosphere is perfect so relaxing. I highly recommend for those who live in Katy area should try this place.
