We were hungry, like moths, drawn in by the bright colors. The margarita was strong, tasted wonderful. House, frozen, salt on the rim. We ordered and were woefully saddened by the utter lack of taste. The bartender tried, but i was not drunk enough to enjoy bland chicken in a tastless sauce. I feel their chef is alergic to salt and/or any other seasoning besides pepper. The table sauces were great and went fantastically with the chips. Service was good and the atmosphere was fun! We will give it another try another day and see if the food was a temp problem or not.

Simply our favorite TexMex on this side of town. Service is terrific. Vibe is awesome. Super easy to support this local business - even if the owner is a USNA grad. (No we do not smoke cigars inside the restaurant!) Beat Navy!

Great food at reasonable prices and the people are amazing. We shared a mixed beef and chicken fajitas plate. We always have to get a couple of ground beef enchiladas any time we try a new place....these were really really great. We loved the queso and guacamole. They offer a military discount as a way of thanking you for your service. We'll be back for more of these goodies.

*This review is specifically for take out* I love Ruthie’s. They catered my wedding and we dine in about once a week. Last night I wasn’t feeling well so I ordered door dash and I was so disappointed.. This is the second time I’ve ordered door dash with them. Order was 2 cheese enchilada plate (in restaurant it comes with beans, rice and slaw) No slaw luckily I ordered some for $3, and it was about 2 bites… 2 ground beef chimichangas. They were for lack of a better word, down right nasty and barely filled. The beans and rice for each meal barely even fill the small container they were put in. I love this restaurant but you guys are totally disrespectful to take out orders. You gave me less than 1/3 cup refried beans and rice. And yes I did measure. I paid more for take out than I would have in restaurant and the food was sub par and we were still hungry because the portions were cut way down. Please do better.

Short answer : Not ever stepping foot in here again after several years of patronage at this restaurant. Two locations, two different experiences. At the first one the staff was nice, helpings were plentiful, and most concerns about my experience were met with true concern and hospitality. This new location is a dumpster fire and my patience is exhausted.I’ve had attitudes as greetings, my money thrown on the bar counter during payment, price jumps unlisted on the website, and a bagging fee for WHAT? On top of all these things, the manager is unconcerned with the subpar quality of his employees and has no intention on making a better experience in the future. So this is an end of an era for my quick meals, Friday night social hour, and family time with Ruthies. Good Luck for whoever comes next. Pictures for reference (:
