We were hungry, like moths, drawn in by the bright colors. The margarita was strong, tasted wonderful. House, frozen, salt on the rim. We ordered and were woefully saddened by the utter lack of taste. The bartender tried, but i was not drunk enough to enjoy bland chicken in a tastless sauce. I feel their chef is alergic to salt and/or any other seasoning besides pepper. The table sauces were great and went fantastically with the chips. Service was good and the atmosphere was fun! We will give it another try another day and see if the food was a temp problem or not.

We came for an early dinner at 4:00pm on Sunday. There was only one waiter and the restaurant was fairly busy, service was slow. My husband ordered the Chicken Burrito and I ordered the Chalupas New Braunfels dinner which was supposed to come with two chalupas but only had one. I questioned why there was only one and was told they thought it was the lunch version although they didn’t sell that one on Sunday. They did bring the second one. The food was good. I especially liked the beans.

Simply our favorite TexMex on this side of town. Service is terrific. Vibe is awesome. Super easy to support this local business - even if the owner is a USNA grad. (No we do not smoke cigars inside the restaurant!) Beat Navy!

Great food at reasonable prices and the people are amazing. We shared a mixed beef and chicken fajitas plate. We always have to get a couple of ground beef enchiladas any time we try a new place....these were really really great. We loved the queso and guacamole. They offer a military discount as a way of thanking you for your service. We'll be back for more of these goodies.

The enchilada sauce is not good and they drown the cheese enchiladas in it. It’s a mushy tasteless mess. The beef tostada purchased a la carte was better. Rice and beans served are bland. The decorative dining room was the nicest part about this Tex Mex restaurant. Waitress was okay but I was disappointed to be charged a $1.50 extra when we asked for additional salsa. That’s ridiculous! Also, the restrooms are in bad need of updating or at least they need to repair because there is a strong pungent smell of mildew. It is unbearable. There are too many other good places to eat at to want to return. The food and service were subpar. Short of the nice greeting when we arrived and the festive atmosphere in the main dining room, there wasn’t much else welcoming about this establishment.
