⭐ If I could give zero stars I would. *Update: The owner did call and leave me a voicemail the day after this review was posted. In the message, they apologized for what happened and stated they would be issuing a full refund. However, it has now been well over a month and suprise, no refund despite following up via text inquiring about it at the number they left. Tonight, Russo’s you lost a long time repeat customer and judging by the few other customers that were there too I'm guessing you lost them as well. The last few times we've ordered it has just been worse and worse. This was our last and final chance we gave you. We used to enjoy ordering from here, which is why we decided to give it another chance—but this experience was the final straw. I placed a to-go order at 7:00 PM with an estimated wait of 50–60 minutes. Estimated pickup time was 8:04pm.That was fine. It's a busy time of year and to be expected. I arrived at 8:10 PM, after my order should have been ready, and walked into a nearly empty restaurant with three employees standing around talking. Only two tables were occupied, both visibly upset and still waiting for their food. A customer who was sitting at one of the tables kept going up asking if their food was ready and another table had only gotten half their food and was waiting a very long time for the rest of their order. I checked in for my to-go order and was told it was “almost ready.” I then watched the employee go and ask the person making pizzas what to do because “they’re here for their to-go order,” but after listening to the conversation it was clear my order wasn't finished. From what I overheard, my pizza was already finished and sitting out because she pointed to it but my garlic knot appetizers were not. My pizza continued to sit on the counter for another 15 minutes while three employees stood around talking, seemingly unsure of what they were doing and watching the other employee make all the food. After 15 minutes, I was told “just five more minutes.” During this time, the dine-in customers continued waiting as well. As I continued to wait I observed numerous concerns with food safety issues: employees touching the register and then handling food no hand washing or gloves used, no hair nets despite long, dirty hair, and food and sauces sitting out uncovered, and one employee eating next to open containers of food. About 30 minutes after I arrived, I was finally handed my order—no apology, no explanation, no compensation. By that point, my pizza had clearly been sitting out the entire time while waiting for the garlic knots to be made. When I got home, the experience somehow got worse but I guess I shouldn't have been surprised by the state of the food. * The pizza (pepperoni, spinach, and olive) was cold, burnt on the bottom, and had only two tiny pieces of spinach total and looked as if someone had already touched it. * The garlic knots were soaked in oil and raw inside, the dough was not cooked at all on the insides. * The boxes and bag were completely coated in grease and dripped out of the bag all over my kitchen, the floor, and my car seat. * And to top it all off, there was a used plastic rubber glove inside the bag with my food. This was a complete waste of money and tip, almost $50 total. This was our final and last chance Russos. We’ll be taking our business elsewhere and finding a place that actually values its customers and the money we pay. I had to throw it all out as it was not edible and make dinner for our family instead along with cleaning up all the grease that had spilled in my car and in my kitchen. Do yourself a favor and spend your money somewhere else. Anywhere else.

Hands down the best pizza I’ve ever had! I’ve tried their Mediterranean, Hawaiian, and Chicken Rustica, and everything tastes genuinely high-quality and thoughtfully made. You can watch the pizzas cook in the fire oven right in front of you, which is always pretty delightful. (Huge foodie here!) I’ve also had the Lasagna, Shrimp Scampi, and Fettuccine Alfredo—all excellent choices. The Greek salad is a must (extra feta). Upscale, spotless, consistently great service, and their BYOB policy is pretty much the detail that seals the deal! You should definitely check out this Russo's location.

This place truly stands out because of the people who work here and cozy atmosphere. The staff are unbelievably kind, and welcoming—they genuinely made my family and I feel appreciated as customers. I came yesterday night and the staff’s positive energy alone made the experience special. On top of that, the pizza is delicious, filling and clearly made with care. The workers and servers were thoughtful and friendly. I felt the kindness in the moment I walked in with my daughters, and it made all the difference. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Went for a date night with my wife. Even though it seems pleasantly smaller there is still plenty of seating inside, and outside seating as well. Love the atmosphere, the main focal point I felt was the big fire oven in the middle-ish of the restaurant. Service is great! Walking in they let us know we can sit wherever we like. We ordered 15 wings and the Doppio Pepperoni pizza. Go for the breaded wings, they are incredible! We were able to order 10 Buffalo hot, and 5 lemon pepper. The doppio pepperoni, we were able to substitute the jalapeños for fresh basil. Incredible pizza as well! It has to be a combo of fresh ingredients, workmanship, and that real fire oven! Service was phenomenal the whole time. We are definitely coming back to try more of the menu!

I have been going to the Russos in Kingwood for a while and has always loved the food there but today I tried the one on kuykendahl and grand parkway location and was so disappointed. It was nothing like I had before. I got my usually chicken parm and sauce was very bland, chicken was overcooked and had way too much cheese, my daughter wanted the chicken fettuccine and said it tasted bland and burnt. I don’t think I will be back to eat there again unless they change the way they cook their food.
