Royal Arm Restaurant

The wife and I were looking for some good African food and found this place because it was one of the two closets places. The other place we'd tried to go to a couple of times was either never open or closing when we got there despite having hours that stated otherwise. So Royal Arm it was even though it was 25 minutes away. But I'm GLAD we made the trek because the food was amazing! Nothing is under a heat lamp and it is cooked right when you order it. The food was so good, I was eating off my plate and my wife's plate! And somehow, 15 minutes in, my food was STILL hot enough to burn my mouth. Everything was seasoned just right and cooked to perfection and the service was great! If you are craving some good West African cuisine in Katy (or anywhere in the Houston arwa), you can't miss coming here!

How can all our food taste horrible 😩😩😩!! Spent $127 and barely touched some of the food my daughter food looked liked it has been reheated!!! Okra is my favorite soup but theirs made me question that!!! I had such excitement when I saw 4.7

The Egusi soup was sooo.. delicious. The service was fantastic. The ladies are so sweet!!! Thank you I’ll be back .. soon.

This has got to be THE BEST West African food in all of Houston. I’ve been to many restaurants serving West African food and NONE of them beat this place. The ladies that work here are so lovely too. I can’t wait until they finish renovations to go back immediately!

This is an edited review. I went 4 years ago it was wonderful. I went today ordered jerk chicken Goat and rice. Chicken was OLD like day old. The goat was old and really just bones. God requires a reasonable service. Really disappointed. Spent $50 two dishes both unedible. Old reheated food with sauce someone could get sick. Waited 30 mins.
